After you said "They played for Dignatas" and Spica said "That could be fucking anyone" is exactly what I was thinking LOL. Keep up the great content Travis!
@@TravisGafford Yo Travis idk if you do this already but I'm sure politely asking/suggesting players (or the LCS?) to tweet a link when you make content like this wouldn't bother them. Or just tag everyone in the tweet yourself idk. This was very entertaining for only a few k views.
Bjergsen is effortlessly hilarious in these, and Prince is my new favorite addition to the LCS! Absolutely loving the content and really can't thank you enough Travis for all you bring to this community, cheers mate and keep up the great work!
A lot of these dudes were a hoot lol. But bjerg especially looked like he was having a blast. I haven’t seen him like that since old bjerger king streaming days
For the first whole time I thought the teams were supposed to be in chronological order, then I kept getting tripped up by the skipping of teams, then I realized that they were sometimes out of order too (Zven TSM then Origen Then G2 then C9) More confusing format than normal and while the players are often confused anyway this one seemed to confuse them way more than normal.
Same. It first stood out to me for Stixxay, and I was like "But GGS wasn't a thing before CLG so how could he have gone from GGS to CLG?" and just assumed that Travis was referring to some old team that GGS used to be. I'm not a fan of the format that it was done in, but I guess it gives Travis another way he can do a video like this.
This is THE best LCS content that I watch. Absolutely astonishing Riot doesn't steal stuff like this or make this kind of thing themselves. Travis singlehandedly revived a dying league
I feel like maybe Riot NA didn't want to look like they copied the LEC quizzes out of fear of being accused of lack of creativity. Travis took that shot and wears it, and nobody in NA or EU minds cause he is not part of Riot. If at this point Riot decided to do these quizzes themselves, as an EU fan I would be pissed off that they're stealing from Travis in NA. IMO the best scenario: Riot would let Travis do these when the teams have Riot-exclusive content time and after he releases these videos for his channel with Riot-assisted production, time and setting, they would feature it on the broadcast (e.g. in the warm-up segment.)
@@robunomy9259 Well, how do you feel about the LPL quizzes then? Granted it's a bit different since they ask the players about famous Western players, but it looks quite a bit like the LEC pop quizzes.
Good video, Travis. I really love how you make most of the players are relaxed around you, as well as simply seeing how much fun you have doing these yourself! One thing I would suggest is to really make sure the guys get the rules in a crystal clear manner, or even a board as Bjergsen suggested or some other visual aid, perhaps. I rarely see misunderstanding of the question/goal of the quiz in the LEC quizzes, and when I do it's not that bothersome as it doesn't happen too often, but still - it can take away the "real" answer that is IMO usually more interesting, while it can be funny only a few times. Really don't mean to sound negative but you seem to care about feedback, so here goes mine. Keep it up
Semi-impressed that Prince actually knows things about LCS players. When he guessed Wild Turtle for one of them, I was surprised he even knew who WT was .
When you're a bad league (compared to LEC, LPL, and LCK) you're actually more likely to stand out if you do somewhat OK. You can ask anybody in China or Korea to name three LCS players and they'll likely get Bjergsen, Sneaky, and Doublelift. Since Prince is an ADC, he likely knows the good ADCs in NA, which really are just Doublelift, Wildturtle, and Zven.
Travis! A+ editing, A+ visuals, A+ player pulls (You gotta get my man Pyosik next time!!!!). I always love the LEC Pop Quizzes, and you're perfectly capturing that vibe (while making it your own). You're killin' it as usual, keep it up!
Prince guessing himself was so good :D. Also, it really shows how long DL has been in the game, he knows basically everything. btw, is it C9's goal to have all the mid laners with the absolute worst hair cuts in the history of the League or how else can this be explained? :D
5:42 AHAHAHA I was cracking up after everyone else figured out its prince, and his initial reaction was like 'Someone in lcs played on DAMWON?!?!' yes prince... SOMEONE in lcs was on that team... whoever could it be?? lololol
Oh man this was great to watch! When you said dignitas and spica was like "that could be anyone!" And TSM and bjerg was like "that's everyone at this point". I think my favorite though was when you said TSM and everyones guess was Bjerg that was great 😂 10/10 video travis keep em coming!
You should incorporate some of these fun trivia/games into your interviews with players. Maybe like 5 mins at the end of your interview format you can call it "Last Hits" and do rapid-fire questioning. I think it would be fun and great content for both players and viewers. :)
Gonna try this myself. Not sure if pros have the outlines, but I do, and they helped me a lot lol: #1. Busio guess 1. 100T fan and icon looks like Busio, know that's not a pro-level team and with an expensive icon they're probably amateur. #2. Stixxay guess 1. Know he was their academy promotion in 2016 after kicking Doublelift, and icon looks way more like him than any other CLG player. #3. Winsome maybe for 1st guess? Rly don't know. No one from the iconic LCK Damwon rosters from 2019-2022 plays in LCS. Prince said it wasn't him immediately so not him. Outline isn't Vicla, probably not Gori. Probably not Pyosik because he played on DRX basically forever (since the 2020?) and was a streamer beforehand, and he's not that old, also outline doesn't look like him. Summit played on Sandbox from the entry to LCK and I think he played in CK with them too? So unless he was on DWG in 2017 or early 2018, very unlikely, and outline doesn't look like him. Can't be older Koreans like Ssumday/Corejj/Impact/Ignar who left LCK prior to DWG being a thing. Only other one it could be is Bugi (I think he's Korean? But could be Taiwanese). Guess 2 ah fuck it's Gori, remember him running it the whole year on FPX to be replaced by Care, Weirdge the outline doesn't look like him. Ruled out Bugi because I know he played minor regions for a while and no way he played on 2 world champion LPL/LCK teams beforehand, no time, and I would've remembered him, and ruled out WInsome because he's too young to have done the same. Guess 3 I am amazed it wasn't Gori. Again I'm iffy on Bugi and Winsome because they aren't veterans to play on so many teams. And icon is clearly not Summit, not changing my guess. I will go with Prince and he was trolling/didn't understand the question the first time. Guess 4 OMG Prince actually forgot he was on Damwon FF, at least I sussed it out but Jesus. #4. Corejj guess 1. Come on Travis I know my LCS history. Give me that outline and Dignitas it's a Corejj meme 100%. Absolutely devious to put KSV as the next team though, no one remembers that era (2018 Spring only? I think)... #5. WTF he says CLG but the outline doesn't look like any CLG player I know of. If question 2 wasn't Stixxay I'd guess him. But outline looks like Vulcan so I'll go with him for guess 1, I have no idea where he started his career in academy. Could also be DL maybe but their haircut is too different. Guess 2 I'm sure it's Vulcan. Pretty sure Vulcan left before they were ever considered Dignitas, though. Weren't they still Clutch throughout all of 2019, even though they were bought by Dignitas...? OK wow he was a SUB for CLG academy, no wonder I didn't know that. But Vulcan gigachad jawline is too obvious bro. #6. Some good options for this one. Could be Spica but their face is slightly too long. Could be Doublelift but his hair was never that short, same for Biofrost. Doesn't look like Bjerg. Doesn't look like Tactical. Could be Bugi don't know what he looks like. Doesn't look like any other current TSM LCS players. Gonna go with Zven. Guess 2 know I'm right. #7. Only EGA player I know is Jojopyun so I'll go with him lol. Guess 2 maybe Winsome? Needs to be someone young enough to have played on EG academy for its short existence, so C9 stint had to be recent. Not Summit or Berserker obviously. Not Blaber, Perkz, Zven, Vulcan, Jensen. Pretty sure Diplex and Fudge came straight from their home regions? Or maybe Fudge played on C9A for a year? And finally I don't think Sven ever played on EG academy, just main roster. Guess 3 ah shit it's Contractz. Didn't realize he played on EGA and wasn't thinking far enough back. Guess 4 know I'm right. Final tally (looks like Travis does every question as 4 points minus your # of wrong guesses): 4+4+2+4+4+4+2 =24 Did better than most LCS pros so I'm happy. I think given how well they did, they probably also had the outlines of the players so I don't feel too advantaged.
i always feel like i wanna see blaber take on every test lmao just remembering the LCS championship history that he nail outa the park and am wondering how he woulda done here
@@OhTheMiZeri ah yes, it totally wasn't TSM creating the Entire hype of the scene with Baylife and Iconic House tour videos, we get it, reggie is a bully, but we gotta stop pretending that tsm isn't the reason why the lcs ran strong for so many years.
I feel like some of these were a bit sus. In addition to the whole CLG Academy thing... Vulcan never played for DIG, he was on Clutch when they were bought by DIG, but they were still Clutch until they rebranded a whole 22 days before Vulcan left for C9, but that rebrand happened after Clutch was done for the season. So Vulcan never played a single game with a DIG jersey or Tri Code. That is overly confusing and not in a fun challenge kinda way.
