I also have a little trick, what I usually do is go with the darker tones first, proceed with the lighter ones and then at the end I blend everything with a white or grey pencil. It turns out very smooth and I love how it looks, I hope it helped someone looking for more techniques ✨

back in school my ballpoint pen was the pen i used because it was mostly the only drawing tool i had with me and i always used pencil at home or in art class ... but after watching this i think i need to revisit the ballpoint pen

Honestly useful even 2 years later! Personally dont really enjoy colouring in my works and I typically never use pen because I fear messing up but I hadn't drawn in 5 years until this year sooo tryin to get back into it and not worry about messing up

Could the brown pen be used as well to fade from black to red or would that be too messy?

Dawn Gaiger I guess you could do that, but then you would have to fade black to brown and then brown to red. But it could work.
