Ok y'all, I understand the Debra hate and all, but you HAVE to admit Ray is a man child. He constantly has people take care of him. Even the KIDS like Robert more than Ray. That's not a Debra problem, it's a Ray problem.

Believe it or not, the Nightmare Fuel section of this show's TV Tropes page actually considers Ray trying to get a mailman to babysit his kids to be the lowest he's ever sank in terms of parenting.

Getting angry over a t.v show is pathetic. His character was written that way. If every character was completely normal, the show would be lame. It's their dysfunction that makes it funny.

There's certainly plenty to choose from. Ray was always my least favorite character, but looking back on this show has really opened my eyes to how much of a dick he is.

Agreed. There is dozens to choose from. Man didn’t give a damn about his kids unless he was competing with his brother. lol Ray and Marie were the worst.

That's one of the more sad understated things about Robert, if Debra had met him under different circumstances, who knows? They might've hit it off and got together. As you pointed out Robert's more invested in her and the kids.

Actually believes it or not Ray had lot of sweet moments with Debra and his kids.

This is not true. Robert is just the fun uncle. He comes over then leaves. Ray and Debra are the ones actually working or raising the kids. He even says it at the end of the episode when ray goes to apologize
