I was on the fence about spending the money on these. After watching your instal and this video I went ahead and got them as a Christmas present. Not quite as flashy as yours though😂 Your car looks great and has the mods I’m getting to slowly. Keep up the great videos man!

Good to know that they are objectively helping the car get cooler air. I just installed these with the black and red combo and I'm very happy with them so far. The red is subtle but looks great and matches the Brembo calipers nicely. Might have to upgrade to the LEDs one day, yours look sick.

I was going to do that same one too, I went with the lit mainly for my channel so I could help people decide on them. I do really like these though, the glow is my favorite. Subtle and different

Nice! Yeah I would like to go MM but for the price, I am honestly thinking of BMS, it also looks a little bigger too. MM is top notch though and the price reflects it.

Man been watching since the beginning (different account) and just recently got the Lozic ECU tune and it puts the JB4 to shame.

Lozic pull the most HP : 93 octane ratios I’ve seen. Makes sense, they are based in South Korea and have a strong fundamental understanding of tuning that car. I always recommend that tune or Lap3 to the ones that want the most power for sure.

Quick question , what did you gap your plugs at when you installed them.

I didn’t touch them, I just installed the HKSM45iLs. Once I do an FMIC and turn the boost up a little, I’ll prob gap down .24. I’ve never had an issue or overboost problems coming up on 10k installed. I’ve hit 24.7 lbs once with no issues either. I have my limit at 24 lbs, but I tried 25 once.

@TWN 2RBO Thank you for the quick response. I just got my JB4 and intakes with plugs. Been following you and can't wait to get it installed. From what I been hearing, map 1 and 2 are the daily driving maps . Any others you been using

@@imba70 that’s awesome bro! Yeah, map 1 and 2 are great daily options and really help support the intakes and exhaust. I was running into some overboost issues after I did the exhaust. The JB4 fixed that. Map 3 is my most used map, I’ve found that 2.5 gallons of E85 and the rest 93 octane in map 3 pulls the hardest. Keep in mind this will wear them plugs out a lot quicker, but map3 is where the hype comes from to me. I really feel it in the seat. But for longevity and overall satisfaction of daily, map 2 with 93 is great. Doesn’t feel hard on the car at all.

Put a jb4 on my stinger kept on overboosting going into limp mode emailed BM 8 times with photos of install and logs too had to take it off told me to replace master chip in jb4 still doesn't work took the jb4 off car runs perfect no overboosting limp mode anymore.

Hmmm, there has to be an issue somewhere. The masterchip usually solves the issue. I would try reinstalling g it step by step from the video I’ve made. You allowed the ECU to fall asleep and placed the key for 15 feet away prior to unplugging the negative batter cable? Also, the OBD connector to the JB4 has two pins that must line up, sometimes people only line 1 of 2 up. Double check the master chip install and all harnesses and that you have the correct colors lined up. Also, make sure you have the boost limit set to 24 lbs. if you are hitting like 26lbs or something (I don’t know your mods) you will def overboost and the mode is saving you from a blown engine which is a good thing. I’ve hit 24.7 in map 3 before with e30. What were outside temps when you overboosted? Was it every time or every once awhile ?

@@twn2rbo yes it overboosted ever time I floored car goes into limp mode pull over disconcted jb4 via Bluetooth turn car off turn back runs fine. The car had a code for erratic throttle, and wastegate ever time took jb4 out of car drove 350 miles took to rayskillman they read the codes listed above but couldn't get the sensor to duplicate problem. Hooked jb4 back up with new wiring harness and masterchip car did the same thing had install completed at fathouse in Greenwood they said jb4 was faulty. Been off for couple months never had a problem since .BM won't send me a new one done spending time on jb4 and money buying chips

What do you mean full kit? Yes, this vid is just the LED snorkels , they direct air on the Injen Intake cones. If you are considering these snorkels I would skip the LED ones and get the regular ones and connect them to the AFe intakes, then you will have cold air ramming into the sealed off air box. Improves IATs quite a bit

Bro I have questions about voiding the warranty with Kia, can I install ark down pipes and borla exhaust? Will it void the warranty

I have both installed and more. Have been to all dealers in my area and they've had no issues with service/warranty. Get compliments actually, but every dealer is different. Simple bolt-ons should not void warranties, they'd have to prove whatever you're fixing failed because of the aftermarket part. MAGNUSON-MOSS ACT

@@exempt_racer18 I’m tryna install borla catback exhaust, you think it’ll throw a code? When you go in do you have to take off the tuned aftermarket parts? What about cosmetics?

@@Alexrei04 It will not throw a code, O2 sensors are on the primaries (cats) only. Until you go catless or change those will you have to worry about that, but a tune will fix that. Only thing you really have to worry about is overboost, it's rare but can happen. Very easy to fix/resolve that issue though. It's not necessary to revert to stock exhaust, unless your dealer is that persistent (stupid) over simple modifications. If they are, I'd go somewhere else if possible. Edit: Cosmetics/aero/suspension are the same, I have Splitters, skirts, and a diffuser on my Stinger... no complaints. My Dealer already is fine with me lowering my car when I do it.

Wait... did you say map 3 with 93 octane? What is this sorcery? Everything I've read says don't run map 3 on just 93 because it will throw timing...Minus the snorkels, I have the same set up as you. I've been toying with trying map 3, but I'm scared...

I’ve never had an issue running map with just 93 and with a little E mixed in. I also daily map 2 with 93 only as well. No limp mode or codes thrown since I’ve installed the JB4.

@@twn2rbo I run map2 all the time and keep 93 octane, but we don't have E85 around here so I'm beat. I wanted to try it on just 93, but was advised against it. I was told the magic mix was 1/3 e85 2/3 93.

@@Belgaram for me the magic mix is 3 gallons of E85 and fill the rest up 93 octane in map 3. However, the JB4 shows map 3 is 93-e30 and 93 alone can still be used. Map 4 is e30 plus and I’ve never ran that map without e. I generally use map 2 when running 93 alone though. Map 3 is an all around favorite map of mine and the car feels very strong.
