For my college class we literally tested these in a proper study, removing placebo effect etc. They had no significant boost when people don’t know if there wearing them.
Lol, a control thats a different shoe than the experimental…. What kind of experiment is that. If we’re testing the effectiveness of the soles, why are we introducing inconsistency by testing two different shoes? Lol this is simple science- nothing about this experiment was scientifically sound.
Yea bit he was honest in the video he wasn't like, OH MY GOD THESE ARE THE BEST GOBUY THEM NOW!! Plus for the money its a massive scam a half an inch for 130 dollars I can buy a hod pair of shoes for that money.
@@Mvtrixx Not Quite, the Lebron 20 has a Carbon Fiber Shank in them wich can really throw off the data when one is a top loaded sole and the other is inside the shoe.
@@itsyaboyjay9862 yeah it is I know that but the shoes are basically the same pair but the one he used the vktry insole with is the cheaper version which doesn't have the carbon plate so I though it would be basically even but as the other guy pointed out I forgot the fact ones inside and ones top loaded which could make a big difference
I’m not sure about that Control Variable though, the Victory Insoles are made of Carbon Fiber. However the Lebron 20’s have a Carbon Fiber Shank in the middle of them. One of the only pair of basketball sneaker that do!
why would anyone 1. think these would work dramatically and 2. ever buy these when the way of wade 10s have the SAME carbon fiber plate in them and are essentially a 50$ shoe when you subtract the price of the carbon fiber plate if we’re assuming it is comparable to the 150$ vktry insole
No it’s not he did a review using 2 different shoes he used the vktry insole in the shoe levron nxt gen that has less bounce because it doesn’t have a carbon fiber plate unlike the lebron 20 which has more bounce because it has a built in carbon fiber player so if he did a competition with lebron 20 with and without vktry insole it would be accurate or with the other shoe the exact same way it would be accurate
guys the insoles take 3-5 weeks to break in after that they give about 2 inches, without the vktry insoles i can grab rim and with them i can dunk at 13
I have these they tore through my shoe pretty fast tho. Make sure your shoes are new cause the insole is very tough. Lol i used lebrons. Forgot which #
Possibly, it could be unrelated but if you think your knee pain is coming from your feet it's most likely due to you having either a high or low arch(most likely low) and not getting enough support under your foot. This causes your ankles to roll inwards putting more pressure on your knees.
a lot of the time knee pain is because of the force you allow them to absorb, when you run and jump the landing is so important otherwise the knee pain may be unbearable by the end of a 2 hour workout
Nah I'm never gonna trust these promotion vids. This is far from an accurate test. Sure there is a control, but a high school student could explain why this sucks. I'm not hating on this guy at all, love his content. However I'm not trusting some miracle product that gives you an increases your vert. (Using your worse jumping foot will obviously have a bunch of variability, you could add or take away a couple inches each jump. You'd need way more samples and not all in one block to get a remotely accurate test.)
