Hey, just for the next time you need to read a spanish name, amontillado is pronounced “ah-MON-tee-YAH-doe” because a double “l” makes a y-like sound. (At least most the time, Language gonna language) :)

Five minutes in and I'm already rethinking how I prep for my own adventures. I've known about the concept of dramatic questions for a while, but literally the idea of having each one printed out for each scene so I can keep myself centred on it never occured to me. Simple but brilliant!

I own a couple of her adventures (Watchers in the Dark + Snow Stalker) which I have used to seed my sandbox game. Haven't gotten a chance to run any of them yet, but even just reading through them I was so thoroughly impressed with their design. This entire video is basically an unpaid ad for them, but that's because they really are that good. Highly highly recommend

Was thinking about Kelsey's 5e adventures while watching your last video! I'd recommend the Cursed Scroll Zines if you haven't read them already. The Curse of Wardenwood and Monastery of the Shadow Sorcerers both take place in locations detailed in the first 2 Cursed Scroll Zines. One minor reference I noticed is that the magic weapon the Scimitar of the Ash Moon in the Shadowdark rulebook is essentially a vorpal sword described as a curved blade with a snarling efreeti head on the pommel, this is presumably the same vorpal scimitar wielded by Pasha Baltazar of the Ash Moon, an efreet enemy in the Flames of Iskh adventure!

I love Kelsey/AL's adventures! I've run a number as one-shots or short adventures. The simple design--with single-page locations and "Dramatic Question" > "Transition"--really lend themselves toward GM ease-of-use, allowing me to focus on the players/NPCs/narration without getting bogged down in the content. I highly recommend them to GMs--tinfoil theories aside!

I was thinking about how much these adventures appeal to my DM style and just general interests, and how much I want to run one. Turns out I have (Secrets of Skyhorn Lighthouse), and it was awesome. Love the Eelfolk so much, I steal them for basically every adventure. I think I’ll have to pick up some of these adventures, build up a nice stockpile of one shots to run.
