Thanks for this, man. Ive always liked maize+, but never got the crops and such to sync up nor enough of it. even with small amount of animals. i ran years on several saves and they just never had enough feed. and the sheds had ridiculous amounts of storage to keep up with as a small farmer. so always gave up. but i think i'll try again with 70% and be happy with that. can't stand _just_ doing crops, so i need animals always. and base game is just way too easy. never seemed to be a middle ground.

Yes, just going for silage and hay most of the time will still give you a good return. Add in some beet harvesting contracts in winter to give your animals a bit of a boost for little effort maybe too

Is this the same for all animals? I got some sheep using maize plus and fed them silage and hay to reach the 70% threshold that it states in the Maizeplus PDF and the productivity went up but they would go through puberty or reproduce, health stayed at 0%. Any help?

Do they need water? have you tried giving them all their feed requirements to see if it goes up?

So the maizeplus manual says you need 3 sliders filled for productivity to increase. Are you saying this is not the case as long as the percentage is right?

What I'm say are these are the results of me testing it. I'm not sure where we got the 3 sliders information from (I hadn't tested before this) but I'll be updating the manual now I've done these tests.
