You’ll notice that old character homes often have very small closets. I feel like we’re having a collective reawakening that living a simple life can be beautiful and that’s it’s more enjoyable to be surrounded with better quality but fewer things. Buying vintage also can provide an opportunity to purchase a high quality item that would be much more expensive new (it is more sustainable). Great video, thank you!

I live in a house built in 1950. My closet is only 22" wide and 20" deep. It holds all my clothing. I am always blown away when I see these room-sized closets being decluttered on RU-vid!

I just decluttered my entire wardrobe and gave away a bag to the homeless shelter another big box full to big sister's charity. I can't tell you how many items I never wore. Shoes I never wore. Now that's bad. Definitely will be implementing a new strategy. High quality low volume in the future.

Also, buying things that don’t fit your lifestyle. I am retired, and I mostly wear very casual comfortable clothing. I like to buy dressy clothes every time I buy something dressy. I don’t end up wearing it very often. Sometimes I don’t wear it at all. I love your tips. I will definitely put it to good use, but I have not been purchasing any clothing because I don’t need any, I have a small wardrobe, but when I watch fashion videos, I always feel like I want something new .I don’t need it😊

I don't buy more clothes nor shoes unless I need something because what I have deteriorate . Same with products. I don't spend time on the internet looking at them. Things are uncountable but I don't need EVERYTHING. Also nobody cares if you smell like this or like that, only with a clean look and smell you give a good impression, the rest nobody cares.

I purchased a sweater today $3.00 that is normally 40.00. I will wear at least 10 times that make a so much more sense. i will look just as good as anybody else. Come on people thrift and use your money for something that matters.❤️❤️ like I went to the ballet it was fantastic. 100.00

I made much better choices overall in my wardrobe refresh this fall for business casual wear. I wore so many things every other week or weekly. I’m going to think a ton more about purchases than I have in the last. Workout clothes by comparison I bought way too much. I wear it all but I by no means needed ten workout outfits when I wash weekly and workout twice a week. Lesson learned.

I have unsubscribed to more than several channels where the presenter is always doing"hauls"... that's just a sales video, or commission video. So I immediately hit the "don't recommend this channel". Life is still good, and I don't miss them!

I mean the less clothes you have, the more you wear those you have and the more you have to wash them. Which means they will wear out quicker. So I prefer to have some more items in Rotation. So the stuff I like won't be worn out so fast. Plus buy quality items.
