Do This Before You Step Into The Batter's Box! [Softball Hitting Tip] 

Just want to tell you that I’ve been working with my 12 yr old daughter about turning the barrel earlier and hinging at the hips rather than standing more upright like she has always done. It has had a huge impact on her performance! She’s always had power but her average needed to improve. Increasing her torso bend has allowed her to turn the barrel early without dumping and dragging it like she used to when standing more upright. Much better bat path now. In fact, this past weekend she hit 2 HR’s, double to the warning track and dropped a line drive in left center gap for a double! She says it felt much more comfortable to swing like this, achieving that ferris wheel/tilt’a’whirl bat bath rather than cutting more across the zone, pulling fowls and popping up straight back! I guess, I myself, had more of a push swing. When I started applying your technique I noticed how much less effort it takes to achieve a better bat path! Maybe I would have played longer if I applied your principals back in my day.
