This may be controversial advice - it depends on the situation and environment: You don't know the person, what their about or even if their single. An attractive woman at work, looked at me and we started talking about interests and stuff but thats all it was friendly polite conversation - I thought about asking her out, but sensibly waited a little longer: Yeah you guessed it: it turned out she was already with another colleagues of ours, and they had been there longer and known each other longer than I'd been there. This works for me almost every time: If you notice a girl looking at you, walk up to her and act like you're about to say something but instead blow the biggest smelliest fart she's ever witnessed. She will be highly impressed. If she likes the smell, tell her where you last ate and ask her on a date. it's a logical argument. if jesus died for our sins, then i can just say f*ck this, be a sinner my entire life, and near the end of my life, sincerely beg for forgiveness and go to heaven. that's not true justice. jesus couldn't have died for the sins of others because those other people need to be held accountable for their own sins. it's like going to a court after murdering someone and the judge kills his own son and says, "here, my son died for your sins, you're free to go," does that make any logical sense? god wouldn't make someone pay for someone else's sins, if he did, he would be an unjust, cowardly god, and god isn't either of those

If you live your whole life ignoring God, never fearing Him or never even feeling repentant over your sins, what makes you think you will suddenly be able to repent and believe in the God whom you never believed in your whole life? Your “court analogy” is wrong. Imagine the judge pays the bail money/fine for the criminal and the criminal is free to go. That’s a better way to explain this, and let’s not forget that God doesn’t forgive if we continue living in unrepentant sin. And lastly, Jesus is God in the flesh. So God did not kill someone else for the mistakes of humanity. He suffered and poured the judgement of humanity upon Himself. God is just, and He can’t let sin be ignored. He has to judge sin. So He became a human and bore the sins of the world in Himself and poured His wrath upon Himself. Jesus can stand before God the Father and enter heaven. So can those who believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus and abide IN Jesus, can enter heaven: not based on their own works, but through the righteousness of Jesus God bless you❤️
