I’m in stage B after 3 and a half years. Now I’m working on getting funded next year. Also working on holding my trades long enough and not hesitating before entering. There’s times I watch price move to my TP and I never entered. It’s a different battle each time you move up the “ranks”.
Honestly just entered into Stage A , After 100 Days of trading n loosing All Money , n now got to know how plan trade & Execute it . From last 10 days All Trade 100% Success . Now im Gng to Practise for another 4 to 6 Months . Dont know if im Lucky im might enter into Stage B in Next 1 or 2 Yrs ... Dont knw .But hoping For Positive Side ...
Same I don’t like the whole idea cause it’s like how will you know the one you size up on will win. I think it’s best to secure some profits first then play with “free money “
Stage A is ok to do but it's still a gamble and early stages of trading, stage B is scary for a while until you see that you can trust in the true and only strategy, then you'll start to accumulate slowly on the dips or pumps depending on if it's long or short postions but you should be able to accumulate massively in terms of size for the right move..... I've seen people saying there at stage B I'd love to test that lol
Started Dec. 26 2023 started with 100$ with lucky trades profiting 40$, started to be too confident as a beginner and became my downfall. Currently lost about 400$. Feeling down and almost quitting. I still decided to continue and yesterday I started to start seeing the chart differently and having actual proper plans. Noticed having more wins and i can even see bigger opportunities now. Hopefully i will become more consistent with it
Do you believe that this can be self taught and with a lot of work, effort and hours you can get profitable or is it absolutely necessary to find a mentor?
I believe that it depends on the person, but finding a good mentor can speed up your learning curve, if you are looking for someone to learn from I recommend learning for free from ICT on youtube. And also Jesus Loves You! John 3:16. God bless!
And simple Is Better I lost A lot of Money trading SMC Bullshit, trying to Target structure that would never get taken, my performance Increased drastically when i Just focused on trading My trendlines and the 20 SMA.
Very informative as always. I see you mentioned a few times in the past videos that some traders are struggling when it comes to scaling up but you don’t mention prop firms. Is getting funded not something you would recommend in these situations ?
I don’t know, I have been on this prop account for 2 months, I don’t have draw downs but I am not progressing either. It’s more like I am bouncing up and down in a range
