as an asian guy with straight hair, i usually scrunch my hair up after a shower and put a wire headband to keep it in place till it dries. when it dries up it’s really wavy :)

Here some tip if you have this type of hair like me. Option 1:go to your barber tell him to texturize your hair Option 2:grab a razor and start cutting your hair, dont cut the ends, just cut the body, with this option you can cut it the way you desire it to look. While these wont get you wavy hair or sum, it ll make your hair not look like a bowl.

I have very curly hair and i hate how i can't style it because it's so damn stubborn, I've always envied everyone around me with those stiff hair that don't get deformed after a couple of minutes riding in a vehicle with wind continuously blowing on the hair. It's also very cool to have that stiff asian hair because i can style it pretty well. My dad got me into a salon because it was the only place open where they cut hair and they washed my hair and it dried straight, I don't know how they do it because right after that, we went home, i washed my hair and i lost the style because my hair curled up again 😞

Thick like volume? Your hair needs the length for it then you can use a prestyler on damp hair, dry hair with a vent brush + hairdryer. Lift up the roots and dry in sections 2-3 sec at a time (don’t burn the scalp) then add a product to maintain the style (hairspray, clay or smth)
