Amazing video, thanks. It is terrible when you tried to have a proper relationship with an amazing person who has the most extreme case of dismissive avoidant attachement style I have ever seen, and who is absolutely not conscious of his patterns, beliefs and real emotions. You're right, presenting proofs, or putting them in front of their inconsistencies, will not work. The only way is to start disrupting their vision of yourself, and the world.

Alexis, you said you put a lot of effort into this video, and it totally shows - I really appreciate and enjoy all your videos (and the format you use with slides etc), but for some reason this one was particularly helpful and on point. So well done, and thank you! And encouragingly enough, whilst my ex hasn't been doing too much hot/cold behaviour yet, for the majority of this video, it felt like you were speaking to my situation directly, which apart from giving me hope that I've been doing the right things for the most part, also provided a sense of calm that by and large we're on a possible road to successfully reconnecting romantically. Many thanks again for all that you do!

After 2 and half months of no contact, he found out I was ill and called me. Then we met at the stairs(we live in the same apt building) he was really smiling. Then few days later he called me on mu birthday. Didn't want to end the call. Shared something of his life. Next day vmcame for a signature I had to give on one document. Smiled all the time. Took the pen back with my hand. Didn't want to leave. And next 2 days it's like I don't exist anymore. Any advice?🙏
