Hey bro...I heard the exact same words from my ex. "I'll let you know when I've spent the time/ am ready to talk". It has been 6 months now...I casually reached out in between a few times, but no reply. She also initiated a hug at a club but she did not reply when I messaged her the next day. The truth is we wont know - it is a good sign she is keeping the door open. I would say check in once in awhile to show you still care...but do it very casually and spaced out. It is a fine balance where you have to show you still somewhat care, but that you are also not desperate. Chances are she wants to date around and you are a backup option at this point.
