Good info there mate, but also missing one of the most important maintenance items - that damn PCV/oil separator breather valve *will* need doing every 40k or so, even more so on the B8. Thanks for sharing!
Yes if the supercharger is going to come off may as well replace it. I know recently replaced the PCV vent hose but can't recall how long ago I did the PCV valve. I think Audi upgraded the part as I recall for the 8.5 and it was less an issue than the earlier cars.
@@wanneroo7106 That's true, the B8.5 PCV breather has an uprated part running less pressure, they can be retro-fitted to the B8s as well but they would require an ECU update to compensate for the difference in pressure. Those vent hoses can be a proper bitch and old ones can snap as soon as you look at them! The EU cars have a different connector than the ones you guys get in the US which make them a lot easier to swap out when the time comes.
