Chris, I am 64;years old and I love the plank. On my 63rd birthday, I did a two hour plank and crawl with pushups. Over the two hours, I completed 200 pushups. I love your videos. Thank you so much.
@@fibsniper786i understand how it seems. A two hour plank by someone in their 60 sounds like, well, why the hell would someone do that. For me, i just enjoyed being able to crawl and do other stuff. It's 🔥 brother 1 month of 2-3 of your workouts and I'm a whole new person. Down almost 30 lbs got my ball sack back. Now I'm commanding things into reality again thanks for reminding me I am a son of god 🙏
Oh my goodness! I made it through the High Plank Jacks and collapsed, I'll be back at it daily though and wipe out the whole routine in no time. I had abdominal surgery 6 months ago and this is exactly what i was looking for to get my core strength back! I love your content! Update 6/1/24: with a few extra seconds of the rest periods, I made it through the whole routine. What a killer core workout!
I absolutely hate any plank exercises which is why I am doing this workout because if I hate it that means it is tough and it works and I can't get better staying in my comfort zone.
How can you not love this guy, he has abs on his ribs 😳 i had a 6 pack in 2017... stopped working out for medical reasons at 35yo... trying to get back six pack and healthy again.
the plank shrugs kill me i'm getting farther through the routine though more consistently even just after a few days could only make it through 2 rounds but tomorrow i'm going for 3 baby and hopefully eventually 4! it's just been a long time since ive used these muscles😂

The plank is the one exercise i hate the most, but it's the most effective for my body. Thanks for making the video! At least it will be a little more fun for me.

I hate planks. I guess it’s good if you want to keep in shape and stay muscular but if you want to grow muscles… I did months of planks variations mixed with crunch and other stuff and I was tired but no real amélioration for my abs. So I decided to switch the planks who hurted my back and shoulders with more crunch and reverse crunch instead (the best: doing the candle): in one month, here are the abs. I don’t say planks don’t work, but for growing muscle, there are better exercices and doing planks seem to waste to much energy (and time!) for not such a great result in your routine. Of course, everyone does what he wants, but if you struggle with your abs while you’re doing planks for months, just try to do crunches instead. It worked for me. I hate planks (I still do the side ones, from time to time though 😂)
can't state how important a plank is for any back issues. It fires up the control muscles that support the spine. You dont need years of physio just 1 minute basic plank morning and evening is generally enough, you can throw in spiderman planks as well if you want to go harder but its not required for maintenance and side planks are a nice bonus if you have time.....but you MUST do the basic plank everyday as back issues will come back when you stop.
