I hit the corner of the wardrobe with my elbow 2 weeks back and I haven't been the same since...The nerve is giving me pain and I can feel a sensation on my pinky finger and ring finger as well...
4:00 advice on brace timing and examples of nerve flossing (nerve glides to free the pinched nerve) Should do no more than 10 of just one exercise or 5x2 exercises
I definitely have Cubital Tunnel Syndrome. I injured my elbow by dumbbell bench pressing. I was tired and went for a higher weight, had a spotter and lost form. The 95+ dumbbells ended up falling outside, away from my inner chest. Forcing me to drop the weight a couple of times. My right arm healed fast, my left has numbness.. I will try these exercises.
Suggestion... try lowering the sling angle just a bit so your arm isn't at 90 but like 80 degrees. That little bit might help. Also, provided your doctor clears it, you may be able to remove the sling when you're sitting at home on your couch healing and simply prop your arm up in a sling position with pillows. The difference is that the angle would be even less and you would not have compression on the elbow directly this way. I did this when I had my shoulder surgery.
i would rlly like an update incase this actually works, i’m 13 and i have this condition, i didnt go to the doctor or anything cuz im too scared to tell my parents but i do have tingling in my ring and pinky finger when i bend my left arm and only when i bend it. thanks dude
@@bebekingg young man why would you be scared to tell your parents? Surgery is rarely a necessity. Doctor will probably tell you to wear the hand splint for night to keep it straight during sleep. You can buy it and use it without going to doctor. Dont be scared, talk to your parents immediately.
Can this condition be permanent? I have burning pain and 2 clawed fingers!!!! How about an injection of something? Heat or ice on the elbow? My doctor wasn't familiar with this ,thanks! I'll take any more tips about this if you have them?
Ive been feeling waves of light pain in the palm below my left ring finger, as well as the side of my ring finger facing the middle finger I tried the flossing exercise and the pain seemed to have lessened and left after a few mins However, immediately as soon as i tried the exercise on my right arm (tilting my head to the left) something got caught and now the side of my neck is painful if i try to tilt my head to the right Any suggestions?
I had pec tear surgery last week and now have to be in a sling for the next 5 weeks. Because my arm has been in that flexed position, I got cubital nerve syndrome. I have to be in a flexes position for the sling, but that affravates the nerve more. I'm screwed, I don't know what to do
I had the same thing but because of a broken wrist so I got given a sling, try using a medical tape to fix your arm in a position that keeps it straight but also doesn’t stretch your pec

Also, provided your doctor clears it, you may be able to remove the sling when you're sitting at home on your couch healing and simply prop your arm up in a sling position with pillows at a much lesser angle.
