My parents retired at 55 , now they are 72 and still active, they have every single day scheduled until at least 5 PM, they helped me to raise my son and now they helping my brother with his two children. Never stop moving and make sense of your life.
My dad has been pushing this to me since I was 16. He is about to be 60 and doesn’t look a day over 45! And he is still more active than my friends (who are in their 20s) are. He pushed the importance of weight training, skin care, eating clean and organic, resistance training, and supplements! I am so grateful other people are talking about this too!
@@NovellaDeParmesano nope. He was a SWAT Sergeant for years and has been into wellness forever. He is still working in LAPD despite being soon to turn 60. He still functions better than any guy I know
They aren’t talking about genetics or exterior aging. They are talking about keeping your body working the way it would at a younger age. You can have great genetics, but if you lead an unhealthy lifestyle….it will eventually show.
Right you are@@alessandrajackson3768 Apologies for not stating the comment was a joke...and not a great one at that :) That said, due to genetics, my family members live to 90+, including the ones who never exercise, eat what they like, and smoke.
I’m trying to quit smoking again. If you could find a guest to come on and talk about that I would be forever grateful (Also love the diversity of guests but would be super cool if you got more women of colour on the programme) So happy I found your channel keep up the great work!
Unfortunately, most stop being active, in the Developed world because of their work. Retirement, gives active people better opportunities to exercise even more.
