I miss the days when Arthur Griffiths owned the team.

I hope we get someone like Jim Pattinson Who would be a local owner with more than enough equity to fully purchase the Canucks and an NBA team. Jim’s group being in charge would be taking over a rejuvenated Canucks place and starting an NBA cares (which tackles homelessness and hunger which Vancouver has more than enough of) Vancouver along with having the Jim Pattinson pavilion he would leave behind a epic legacy here. That’s what I hope happens here.

This is all about money, plain and simple, so obvious! I hope he sues them in return. I'm not a big fan of Francesco but, so many people go down this route ..it's getting old!

Ask me this same question 1 year ago, and I would tell you absolutely that Canucks fans deserve better than Aquilini. However, after seeking out new management, paying for a well respected President such as JR, and making investments to the future success of this organization I am happy with Aquilini, from an ownership standpoint at least.

Hot take: Jim Rutherford will leave (or potentially be let go) before his second full season is up, and possibly Allvin as well. It seems like enough storms are brewing that buyer's remorse on one side or the other is sure to follow.

We don't deserve anything. This idea that we are such awesome fans that we deserve to win, is so dumb and ego maniacal. All the fans in Van have done over the years, is act butt-hurt and complain when the team goes on any kind of losing streak. The media feeds the bottom feeding mentality and we get this false narrative that we deserve better and deserve to win all the time. Fans should be cheering harder for some of the talent on this team with the understanding that they are people too. Fans of Vancouver still need to prove that they'll stick with the team through thick and thin. Then maybe just maybe we can complain about deserving anything. Unfortunately we have the ownership we deserve. Self-serving and win now attitudes with no patience through the process deserve nothing.

Remember that the Vancouver media has a bone to pick with Aquaman regarding criticism and possibly jobs and money. Far from unbiased commentary. That being said I'm not a fan of the ownerships decisions and would welcome a change.

I think the fans are fortunate to have an owner that’s passionate about the Canucks. The MaCaw’s based in Seattle, we’re a terrible ownership group. We could always go back to those days.

Nothing proven yet re: whatever Francesco Aquillini did/did not do. If you’re trying to get an ownership group to sell, is it enough that there are allegations only?

Who cares who owns the team? Who cares about unsupported allegations possibly made out of pure greed. How is this relevant to the hockey team? As a criminal matter unrelated to hockey, it matters. Absolutely. If that arises and is established, there is no doubt that the team should be forced into sale. Until then forget it. This guy, Sekeres, has been an Aquilini basher for years. The Aquilini family is probably the greatest Vancouver success story, ever. And they are much beloved around the city for endless support for great civic causes. Stop spewing nonsense.

I would say yes. But I do enjoy the passion he has for the game.
