I don't get the love for Necas? His numbers don't show him to be a major offensive player at all.. and he isn't that big. And why would we give them Hoglander.. and Hronek. Hoglander is younger and almost has just as good numbers.. and is way cheaper and a canuck drafted and developed player so likely easier to re sign in the future.

I'm really blown away by these takes. Hronek had 5 less points than Necas but plays RHD. He turned Hughes into the best defenceman in the league.

Hughes did more for Hronek's sats and that's what determines their payday.

@@ddhmc8908 Hronek's production was standard for him. He did not overproduce based on career averages. His previous year he had 60gp with 38pts on Detroit. This season he went 81gp and 48pts. You are wrong.
