This is it! The latest and according to Creative, the greatest that gaming audio can iffer. The website is very happy to tell you about how good this device is. It’s simple and intuitive, it’s tilted and has a mixer like design. It has Gain Control, to switch between game and voice and has Quick and easy controls. It has two DSP’s! It has SXFI battle and Scout mode. And last but not least it has an audiophile class DAC!

Nothing quite makes up for the joy of using well-executed, well weighted, analogue knobs. As you said, form factor is the selling feature here, not audio quality. Shame really, because Creative could have done them both! Thanks Anton. P.S. Never been a huge fan of Sennheiser, personally. There's nothing wrong with them, but I've always found better sounding headphones at all price ranges (even including cheaper).

Well done! I just can't get over the worse Rightmark score for the waaay better line-out specifications, compared to the headphones out.

@@AntonsHardware too late I bought the gc7!. I dont appreciate a few things with the g6. the volume knob is really poorly implemented. the volume knob doesnt even control the optical out signal. you cant use optical and headphone at the same time. micro usb is poopoo too. all those things not a problem with the gc7. I suppose with the crystallizer at 40% the audio is fine enough, I think it adds multiband compression or something. I got the gc7 for less than half price so im not complaining, although I do feel the dull audio a bit with my studio monitors. willing to live with it for now. Im using optical in and optical out and using the box for EQ and DSP for my cd player. I like the rightmark tests with ur reviews, appreciate that.

I was thinking to buy it but I guess I will not. I just stay with my Sharkoon Gaming DAC S Pro.

Audio technica is better, most of senhheiser are muddy in highs i can recomend you you old constructions like ath-550z with "wings" this construction is really well made if you dont like headphones who break after 2 years i can reccomend it and your ear is fully protected. Card is meh, g6 and ae5 better in similiar price.

hi, may i ask a question? this Sound Blaster GC7 can loopback computer music?? if i use for singing , the Microphone and Stereo Mix (What U Hear) will work together??
