Hey Adrian. I've fitted two sizes of boots, namely 8(uk) and 9(uk) of which the it is a bit too tight and the 9 was a perfect fit so I went with it. But when once it broke in it became very loose. Should I buy the 8 next. NB: Half sizes are impossible to find in South Africa

Hi Namedi, thanks for commenting. Many people experiences thus issue. Unfortunatelly there's no golden rule but this is what I'd do if I'm in your case. First, I'll try to shrink it. Do timberland boots stretch? I can’t find any videos about this.

Hey there thanks for your question. Yes, Timberland boots can stretch out as long as they're made of leather. The boots I've used in this video are my Timberland PRO boots and I did manage to stretch them out a little bit. It might be even easier to do this on a pair of casual Timberland boots since the leather will be thinner than heavy duty work boots but I haven't tried that myself. Hope this helps. Adrian👍🏻

What oil could replace the Mink oil ?

Doesn't the water and oil wreck the color of the leather?

Hey Ruth, no. Water won't damage the leather because it will eventually dry. The mink oil will change the color of the leather for sure. In this video was more important to find out if we can strech out the boots or not. After all if the boots are too tight, you won't even be able to wear them so the darkening of the leather was not an important factor to consider. Try this process BICK4 instead of mink oil if you're worried about darkening tbe leather too much. Hope this helps. Adrian👍🏼

Yeah, 100% 😀 The problem is it might take a little bit longer than if you're using the hairdryer. But if you have a lot of time on your hands, sure, why not? 😀👍🏼 Good luck
