@@DX-d you're delusional lol. You can make this dish in 15 min if you're inexperienced and in 5 if you've done it many times. I mean, that aint our fault you can't cut vegetables lol
For anyone curious about the noodles they're called fresh pulled noodles or shanxi planed or shanxi fresh noodles. They are Oriental fettuccine noodles and you can get them in the Asian markets !!!! Really good 😅
When she said "my corporate company announced work from home 2 and a half years ago" my mind went to 2018-2019 until I realised 2020 is actually 2 years ago😭😭😭😭
I literally hate these noodles. I know some people like it, but I grow up with handmade noodle and this to me just has this weird texture. The sauce looks fine, but change to fresh noodles in Asian grocery would make a huge difference.
@@sunhannah2937 very few places in the world besides Asia have fresh/homemade noodles for sale. So we gotta stick to store-bought ones:/ making them at home everytime sounds time consuming
If you wanna make a butter sauce version, I'd recommend this! On a hot pan put your butter, add as much soy sauce as you want. Let it heat up so you get that smokey flavour. Then I added the pepper flakes, garlic, and vinegar. I liked adding roasted coriander (cilantro) and sesame seeds at the end. Your noodles don't really matter, but I found chow mein noodles to have a good springyness to it. I like butter sauces better because they don't require really hot oil, but it's all up to you on your flavour profile 🥰🥰
wait isn't mala that thing where you go to a shop and choose whatever noodles and food items you want and tell the shop owner the spice level and they stir fry everything into delicious food? or are we talking about different malas

Black vinegar: Mix 1 part balsamic, 1 part rice wine vinegar and 3 parts water. Avoid syrupy or sweet balsamic. Can also sub rice vinegar. Recipe link in description. Leave out chili oil and or chili flakes if stomach is sensitive.
@@disturbed0insanelol sorry I’m 5 months late to this but she has a website with all of her recipes! I live by it. Just look up tiffy cooks chili oil noodles I’m sure it will pop up

"easy and quick!" * recipe calls for homemade chili oil* fml edit: if you want to leave a reply on this please check if anyone else has said it already - i have received too many chili oil recipes for one person to make
Tif, I made these last week but I made some homemade egg noodles (and might have put in double the chilli oil) and MY GOD. You’re too right when you said we’d become obsessed 🥵
I have always enjoyed your videos and refer to them when Am able to buy noodles I used to have as a kid and didn’t know how to cook them. Thanks for making things simple & delicious 😋❤️

It's easy to make.. Not racist but why white people are lazy to cook.. I see in Europe and America people buy lots of pre cooked food.. Not healthy option
Thank you for this recipe....it is sooo good....I did mine without the egg & my son's with the egg(we both enjoyed it....the next time I make it, I'll be adding shrimp!
I made this, and it was pretty good. I took her advice and customized it by adding a little sugar, curry powder, and instead of just seame seed. I used rice seasoning, which has seame seed and seaweed.
Try adding freshly ground Szechuan pepper before you pour in the hot oil. Personally I prefer a good Aceto Balsamico over Chinese black vinegar in my dishes, but to each his own.
My friend made this for me. She did the pull version and it was the best meal I've ever had my entire life. I have now made it my goal to replicate them. I haven't tried the pull yet but I've made them like 15 times and they're an incredible workout to as well.
Ooooh, I need a new WFH lunch meal - Im getting bored of scrambled eggs on toast... looks amazing and I'll be able to have these w my latest obsession, korean sides 🥰😋😘
Is the homemade chili oil separate from the hot oil you poured in, or did you just heat the homemade chili oil? If the hot oil is separate, what kind of oil do you use?
Does your recipe actually mean 3 tablespoons of black vinegar or is that a typo? I made it a few weeks ago and was shocked that it said 3 tablespoons. I was excited to make this recipe, but had to throw it away because there was just way too much vinegar.
Just made this now for lunch , it was so bad , it was just bitter and spicy at the same time and all I tasted was cucumbers. It was so bad I gave it to a dog to eat. Just wayy too bland for me .
I never learned anything about Asian cooking but I rushed out to the local Asian grocery store and got the ingredients. I made this recipe. It was AMAZING. But not cheap. I spent over $30 (US). There's still plenty of sesame oil and black vinegar in the bottles so I can make it again, but it's still not cheap.
Or you can also use shanxi planed or shanxi fresh noodles; they're basically the same thing! They are Oriental fettuccine noodles and you can get them in the Asian markets !!!! Really good 😅
@@Dojan5 I don't want the noodles to taste sweet from gochujang. Also I'm korean so I already have a lot of gochujang based recipes! So I'd like something different :)
I love your noodles and sauces. I’m going to buy them for everyone I know as a gift. It’s the greatest!!! Thank you so much for making it easy for us to make delicious noodles. ❤❤
Yummy , I tried this! The only thing I did different was pour the hot oil on just the dry ingredients, I found the garlic cooked better and I needed less oil, adding the sauces from the start cooled the oil really quick so the garlic was still raw, or I needed to use a lot more oil...
