I am with you - I feel like I am going down fast. I just don’t feel like anything. You describe it perfectly. Doing my hair, doing my makeup, cooking with my friends and family.

Appreciate the perspective you’re giving in this video. I remember having hurt feelings when my mom didn’t want to come over my house and see her grandkids, said it was boring which crushed me (she always used to love spending time with us). It is so hard for loved ones to remember it is the disease in their brain affecting this behavior of apathy, not their hearts.

Great comment. I will do a video "it's the brain, not the heart." I understand Huntington's so much better now after having it over time. But I forget about how it is to feel for others' feelings, and I expect everyone else understands me. Complicated thought 😕 🙃

I feel the apathy too! Was asked if I wanted to feel better and I said no! At least I’m not ticked off or crying all the time. I prefer the numbness my meds provide!

It's such a difficult disease, and it definitely plays tricks with your brain. I hope you can find some peace through it all.
