@@HawksDieselthat also.. I know you have watched more than one of Mike's videos.. It's so rare that he runs into a guys like Williams It's mind blowing when it happens..
Yes...yes....finally....An officer that knows his job and performed perfectly.....showed up....announced why he was there.....and just managed everything with ease....cla,clap,clap. awesome.
When will LEO's learn the law or be required to have a Criminal Justice degree?!?! End Terry v. Ohio, End Qualified Immunity. End Police Unions and their ability to dictate what training LEO's get at the Police Academy. Training schools teach the new recruits not the law, but that they are protected by qualified immunity along with judicial immunity for judges and prosecutorial immunity for prosecutors. Abolish Qualified/Judicial/Prosecutorial Immunity.
All public employees and all law enforcement employees and all judges should be required to take continuing education classes on local and Constitutional law. Period
Considering I had an officer tell me that they teach them in the academy mainly how many ways they're going to die and scare the shit out of them versus anything pertaining to the Constitution or law, so the basket cases, teaching these police to be overly paranoid is the problem.. And no one seems to be addressing that
Immunity is generally bad. Your job shouldn’t matter: if you break the law, you get arrested and prosecuted. Can we talk about Hood immunity? I see those people get charges dropped to nothing and sentenced to probation for violent crimes all the time.
First cap was amazing. Second cop needs to learn the law before policing on the streets. He was ignorant of the law and tried to cover it up with I was just asking nonsense. Respect our rights!!!
@@ChristiaanC458 more like wipe the slate clean , retrain and educate the instructors and FTOs . . .the entire policing in the US needs a drastic overhaul.
Officer Willams seems like a real good cop. He saw something he wanted to investigate, or got a call. He started a casual conversation, got answers to his questions. Then went on his day! OUTSTANDING!! I recall when cops like Officer Williams were common.
Every once in a while you will get a "Dedicated" Human Being that takes the Job of "CIVIL SERVANT" seriously and honors their oath. Unfortunately you get more people in that line of work that let their ego take over and they become power hungry and become tyrants.
As an old senior citizen, you young people amaze me with your legal knowledge. Back in the day we could just fish with a license. Sorry you have to go through such crap just to fish.
He is not just fishing. He is open carrying an AR rifle while fishing in an area where it isn't really needed for protection and he can't shoot it for hunting or target shooting in that area. It understandably makes people nervous.
@@seattlefishing4240who are you to proclaim what he needs or doesn't need for protection? Plus, America isn't based on NEEDS. Needs are the communist way of life, not ours. Don't be a commie
@7:00 "I shouldn't throw a blanket on everybody..." "But neither should the cops. Just because he's open carrying, doesn't mean police contact is needed or wanted! Kudos to Williams! Love ya work, man!!
@kennybachman35 I think he meant it was so nice to see an officer actually doing his job - with kindness, respect & knowledge, so he wanted to give him some kudos. 🤷🏼♀️ But, you're right, too ... all officers should do their jobs this well. Sadly, too many of them act like Germany's gestapo instead of America's public servants.
That first interaction was fantastic. I love that you always invite them with friendly open conversation, unless they're handcuffing you or pointing their guns.. lol
Even though the state of Georgia has a constitutional carry law, the police, sheriff, and DNR all act like it's a war crime to carry a gun, let alone own a firearm.I always stand my ground because I know that I'm not breaking the law, and yes we do have a CCW but won't give up because I've had to go and get a new license on three different occasions where a sheriff deputy destroyed a CCW and another just took it and kept it, and a DNR officer also destroyed a CCW. They need to learn to be a little more informed as to the laws.
Respect to the first cops. Not asking silly questions, escalating or removing legal firearms and not being a douche, 🏆🏆🏆, for the first cops. The second was a confrontation with the cops not knowing the law and the cop dressed up as a special operations guy, childish fantasy but it ended ok.
Cool how he even had a cordial conversation just to make sure you are mentaly fit to carry a firearm and than quickly realized you most definetly are. That is what the police should be doing.
@@randyo619 Pink and white Mr.Twister. Best all around go to lure in my experience. Just about everything will hit one. Crappie,Bass, Perch, wipers and stripers. I've caught them all with those. I always keep a package of them in the tackle box.
Hello my friend thanks for standing up for our rights .iv always wanted to do some fishing in the sunshine st well thanks again from the southern Kentucky hillbilly ❤
Where were you at man? Was so shocked at the professionalism of these officers and deputies, I didn’t catch where you were? Proud of these guys and gals, hope their community knows how fortunate they are and shows appreciation for them.
This was a great fulcrum point brother, tipping towards positive outcomes, your determiation has made these kinds of encounters more likely to end in a civil manner every day.
The "no fishing" appears to be at the boat access and ramps, which is more than understandable with the motors, currents, casting near many people, and just general safety. The retaining wall doesn't have those concerns.
Connecticut we got a license plate just like a car and then we had to paint the numbers on the side of the boat but that license plate had to be in the cabinet along with the registration papers
I was having a drink with an older friend the other day, retired FBI agent who was lead agent for the arrest of a notorious criminal some years back. They got him on a firearm violation, carrying a firearm on a commercial flight when under indictment. He was a little surprised that he could arrest him for that, but of course the part of the story that I wanted to hear again was that he was legally (except for the being under indictment part) carrying a SHOTGUN through an airport and on a commercial flight. Now, you get taken down for legally carrying a firearm while out fishing. Times have changed.
Mad respect to the officer that is well informed, respectful nd professional. See how F-IN EASY that was; it's called freedom nd the respect from man to man; human to human. That's AMERICAN
That's how police officers' public servants should be talking with the public." Yes, sir. My name is so-and-so and my badge number is so-and-so." But the blue line gang thinks they're above the law end qualified immunity immediately
