Finance and Business books have been so helpful. I’m 55 and my wife 50 we are both retired with over $3 million in net worth and no debts. Currently living smart and frugal with our money. No longer putting blames on FED for our misfortunes. Saving and investing lifestyle in the stock market made it possible for us this early, even till now we earn weekly.

You have done great for yourselves. I understand the fact that tomorrow isn't promised to anyone, but investing today is a hard thing to do for me now because I have no idea of how and where to invest in. I would be happy if you could advise me based on how you went about yours, as I am ready to go the passive income path.

Credits to STEPHANIE KOPP MEEKS, she saw me through the process. You can glance her name up on the internet and verify her yourself. she has years of financial market experience.

What continues to blow me away is the revenue total VS the employee count of these businesses calling in some of them have so many employees for the amount of revenue they bring in they must be paying people nothing

Just started a side biz and hope it can grow to where I can take 3 week vacations like Dave.
@djg4653

That only comes once you forgo it by working three to four weeks straight for like 5 years. The more the business grows the more it attempts to suck you in and sometimes you simply have to sacrifice during certain seasons of life. Dave is 65 years old and has hundreds of millions of dollars he could just quit and buy a super yacht/cruise ship and go on his way but he loves his work
@Shreeree441

@@djg4653 I think that’s why I value his book, Entreleadership. My goal is to create a system where it can be self sustaining and I can eventually get off the treadmill and watch the biz ride. I completely understand it’s going to be lots and lots of work with lots and lots of sleepless nights (already feeling it because once I’m out of my FT time, I’m putting in time for training and setting up the biz afterwards) I’m praying it’ll be worth it in the end.

@djg4653 I agree what you say , except the 5 years part. Different business/ expectations will have different amounts of time

Covid definitely had an impact on the workforce industry. The government did not do businesses any favors by scaring the pants off society, so much so that people started to question their life and began to re-evaluate and re-prioritize what is important. I am not sure that things will go back to the way they were; society's perception of Corporate America has drastically changed. I do think we are in one of those historic moments where innovation and creativity will flourish as people decide to make an attempt at entrepreneurship and/or how, when and where they want to work. Was this all done on purpose to change the mindset of the masses in preparation for something else? Who knows, but in my opinion, it has also led to an increase in social anxiety and has fostered and cultivated more introverts. What happens next is anyone's guess, but it will be interesting to see.

@@brandoncraig855 never said it would work for everyone. Some people prefer being onsite. But the time and money saved from commuting has been a game changer for me, and the tech companies I’ve worked for have seen easier scaling without the overhead of physical office space.

No actually businesses quickly found out during covid just how little employees are willing to do when they work from home it's a terrible mandate for any business owner it's great for someone who wants to work from home and slack off and play with the dog and babysit the kids all day
