I urge everyone to look at what's happening in Hong Kong - police using violence against student protesters seeking true democracy in the universal suffrage. The students did not use any weapons but only trying to occupy the Civic Square which used to be a public area for peaceful demonstration, recently blocked by the government in fear of facing the public. It's now the critical moment for Hong Kong people to stand up for what is right.

It is what makes the musical so much more moving. It drives home the fact that it is not merely enough to be on the side of right, but to have enough might to back it up. The very fact that their noble cause was not able to stir the hearts of the people is what makes the presentation so much more stirring to the audience.
Remember seeing Les Miz on stage in 2009 at a children's theater in Fort Lauderdale when my cousin played Fantine :) and I loved it! And I loved this movie to! It was beautiful and emotional and each cast member gave great performances!

National anthems has true meaning of the country's existence. It inspires many people and forces you to remember how a country survived so far. Changing it now would be meaningless. I do think France's national anthem is beautiful. It makes me imagine the revolution. And i have deep respect for it.
I've seen the movie like 5 times now and i'm going to watch it again, it's amazing! A true masterpiece with great actors! I loved it, it's one of my favourite movies and musical. I cried, i smiled, i felt for the characters, it was so amazing. First time i saw it i cried like an idiot. Love this scene!

Never considered that man 2 b good 2 woman, the man raped stormie Daniels and got away with it became president tryed to destroy democracy with supporting storming the capital.he is also really gross sounding in interviews like he is a judgemental man. I can't but if u liked his policies cool they might of been helpful but he was gross in general.

I listen to this and I remember the martyrs I stood with in Tahrir Square in Egypt as we fought for our freedom. I'm humbled and honored to have been by their side.

yeah. tom hooper's style of filming is very up close and intimate so the attention to detail is great. only the "rich" characters had good teeth...valjean, javert etc
This song is amazing and Aaron is so talented and amazing in this movie. He went to school in the city where my ex lives and I am happy with the thought I've been around his old...somewhat home turf. I know he was originally from a different town in NY.
