As an Indian US citizen, I had dreamed every day that my kids go to Ivy league....But now I am disappointed by responses of the head of these colleges and wondering whether it is worth it.....The education institutions had been the bedrock of US society, its power, its innovation culture...Alas, they are now taking 300Mn from Qatar (a country who funds and advocates almost every terror organization) and she doesn't know.... My granddaughter was told by her professor that she should “Find the confidence of a mediocre white male.” The President quoted Taylor Swift in his final remarks during her ring ceremony. When my granddaughter was discussing her workload for the week she was told by her professor, “You’re F’d.” One student’s Capstone presentation was on How Country Music Promotes the Subjugation of Women. Clearly he meant that she herself lacked top skill at understanding English. The second was the red herring that "truth is Universal [sic]", which may very well be true. But - and this really needs no pointing out, but you force me to it - no language is universal. I'm not here to praise or blame the OC for his comment, but to call attention to your nice attempt to muddy understanding with evasion, pretense, red herring and cunning rhetoric.

All colleges and universities accept money with restrictions. The donor designates how the funds are utilized. Their foundation office tracks how, to what, and where those funds are expensed.
