I think calling someone beautiful is lovely, especially when it comes from your team members. They don't have to compliment his beauty, but they do b/c he is both beautiful inside and out. I'm sure they compliment each other plenty about their hard-work and talent, but talking about someone's beauty sometimes isn't comfortable for people, but to them, it's easy for them to say Taeyong is lovely. 💚

@@nataliepham6119 since predebut ty has been a victim of various accusations like an online scammer which he already apologized for with tears but turned out to be false news. Then he's recently been accused again of being a bully in middle school and there was an informant who exaggerated bad info about him which sm is already taking legal action for. It was his 1st time being absent from an nct stage on kbs' first half of the year broadcast and sm said he was resting. I personally think he took a break for his mental health. Thats just about it i guess. Our ty doesnt deserve all this hate. People always get pressed for him and nct's success.

I think he's more shy about it. He likes to compliment people as opposed to people complimenting him, in my opinion, haha. But his reactions are sweet. :)

I feel like the members only ever talk about how handsome he is and rarely compliment him on anything else. If they have to say something to him it's always "You're really good looking" and "Please be healthy". And that last one is worrisome.

The claims against him have been distorted over time, by language barriers, different cultural standards malicious efforts to defame him (by his rivals) that to answer you I can only try to be as accurate as possible in listing them. Others may have corrections or more to add. At his debut, a tearful Taeyong made a public apology to anyone who had been hurt by immature acts in his youth. He did not list them but he did cite his NCTRookies who he deeply regretted were suffering for mistakes of his past. When those mistakes came light we were a bit baffled. One was literally that AS A CHILD IN HIS EARLY TEENS he had a sassy online altercation with a teen buyer over a TOY he sold them that arrived broken (damaged in mailing) THAT minor altercation got blown up to where Taeyong was vilified as an online SCAMMER too morally corrupt to properly BE a Flawless Kpop idol!!!! More of his wrongs were "exposed" A post debut (SCANDAL!!!) claimed that while singing as he came down a packed isle at a concert, Taeyong had shoved a fan to the floor and left her lying there. But a second fancam taken from a different angle SHOWED that the fan had rushed up to GRAB Taeyong and his security guy reached from BEHIND him to block that fan who was seen as a THREAT to his performing idol. In FACT it was his GUARD who knocked the fan down then rushed Taeyong past her and out of harms way. That scandal persisted even though a VIDEO EXISTS that proves it was...false. Always suspiciously timed accusations (this time as SuperM debuted) date way back to when Taeyong was IN MIDDLE SCHOOL before he had even joined SM. People claiming to be his classmates came forth to present "evidence" of homophobia & fat shaming & a pattern of BULLYING. Claims were made that in school settings (yearbooks etc) he'd posted several (hurtful) comments of the kidding kind that immature & politically uncorrected school kids make (before they know better) Some proved to NOT be made by him. A "gay" jest made to a friend was exposed but NOT by the friend who came forward to insist it was a silly joke and HE took no offense to it (to the contrary HE felt exploited by taeyong antis who used HIM to defame HIS friend) Most persistent have been widespread claims that gentle NCTTaeyong was a high school bully even when it was denied by a teacher at his school who said in a recorded phonecal that Taeyong was quite the opposite, a kind & helpful "angel child" ONE UNkind (weight related) quip said about (not to) a girl in a group photo DID appear to cause harm to her though not until much later when she heard about it. It has been reported that taeyong MET IN PERSON with the girl he had in his youth body shamed. He quietly listened to her complaint, formally apologized to her, agreed to do community service (which he does anyway) & made monetary compensation TO her for his childhood thoughtlessness. The now young woman, we are told, DID accept his atonement, forgave Taeyong and they have since corresponded as friends. Ironically, it was Dispatch (a news agency that trades in rumors) that finally put an end to accusations. In an in depth investigation Dispatch exposed edited texts & discredited one of Taeyong's accusers. SM also announced that it will now take legal action against people who slander their idols. (But understand that is very difficult to do & the outcome is seldom worth the hassle & Taeyong himself has resisted retaliating in the past) On the upside, since then, more classmates have come forward with their favorable recollections of pre idol Taeyon that refute the image as a bully and show a different side to him. The taeyong they describe was a kind kid, way TOO attractive to girls, somewhat shy and some have said HE not only stood up for kids getting bullied but he himself was one. Thats believable since he certain IS bullied AS an Idol Taeyong has now been largely vindicated of most of those accusations and, at least until the NEXT round of attacks, he's finally getting more & long overdue...love

They're surely not just praising his looks from the outside but also from the inside. It's actually really meaningful for the members to still praise his looks and leadership up to this day because they are the people who knows Lee Taeyong more than the people who doesn't know him. As the legend says, "The more you know the person, the more you see WHO they are." So if the members are still praising his looks then it tells us that Lee Taeyong that we see and Lee Taeyong that they know are beautiful inside and out 🤗 Also, it's really rare for a male group to still praise their member's looks after knowing each other for so long now, right? NCT is that rare group haha
