It's just to mark the direction. Those countries don't hold any significance in Islam. They might have even named those corners to America, Russia, China and it would make no difference to Islam. You can pray towards any direction if youre in a remote place and dont have a compass or something to guide. 3. Some people in this video is standing on top of kaaba. If kaaba is pagan why we stand on top of it rather than worshipping it. 4. Kaaba is just for direction, to unity muslim all over the world.
