you're able to preorder a few of their films on amazon rn. Not sure how that will go, it does suck it's not in the US.

At least they ship overseas! Just get a region-free Blu-Ray player from 220-electronics for a hundo and your're good to go.

yes, the first Altered Innocence release has gone up - Arrebato. The FoMO factor is stronger with this one, as it's only 1,000 copies with slipcover!

I hadn't heard that Kat was involved, although if so it's definitely another plus point. There are a couple of former Arrow people amongst the founders.

These particular ones are region B releases but it appears that some will actually play in all regions if they are also getting a region A release, such as Big Time Gambling Boss here

Not all are region B, some are region free like Man on the Roof and others are on sales in America like Big Time Gambling Boss and A Woman Kills. Details are on our website which indicates which titles are in America too.

Interesting. The release date for that disc is said to be February 6th. Did you order and receive very early?

When the Limited editions go, they’ll reissue with a standard edition which will still be the great disc - the best presentation with great supplements, just like Criterion. I think the comparison to Criterion is perfectly fine. I’m not changing the title but thanks for watching!

I believe it's a legal requirement in Germany (and Australia) that such ugly ratings logos must be printed on the front of the artwork. Aesthetics evidently mean nothing to the men in grey suits in both countries.

@@ShanghaiRooster Yes, I know it's legally required, but to what point. If it's printed on an insert such as shown here, is not printed? I don't know if it's specified.

@@LennyNero2019 I managed to find a pdf file of the FSK rules (in English), which states... First some blurb about the size and position of the rating, ie, on packaging at least 1,200 square mm (3.46cm x 3.46cm), front side bottom left, and that it must have "integration into the printed area". "The rating can be integrated into the print copy (it need not be integrated into the artwork); alternatively, the rating can be applied to the case or cover with a permanent sticker (non dischargeable without assistive equipment). If the colour design of the background blocks out the square contour of the rating, it has to be optically delineated, eg., by a frame." Reading between the lines here, it would appear the law is that the rating must be a permanent feature on the front cover and not, as with these Radiance blu-rays, or on other UK issues with reversible inserts an 'optional' imposition on the artwork. In Britain it would appear that so long as the BBFC rating is visible at the point of purchase, that's all that matters. I don't have any German issues in my collection, so maybe someone who does could chime in if alternative artwork exists on German releases without the visible rating logo.

@@ShanghaiRooster Thanks for that, if they even allow a sticker, which can later be removed, then an insert is probably allowed anyway, only they didn't think of that. They print the same exact artwork on reverse, so that after buying you could flip it around, but adding such an insert on top is probably cheaper.
