Do You Need to Wash Your Jars? 

I have been working in a glass industry for 20 years and I can assure you that no manufacturer washes them, thanks for sharing and happy smoke ✌🏻

I guess some may assume they are clean, but I never did. Even if I thought they may be clean I would rather make sure myself. The same thing goes for cloths. Some people say I'm crazy for washing new cloths but then others agree with me. Cool topic take care.

I always wash by balls but not my jars. But stinky tobacco disease sounds life altering and terrifying, so from now on I will wash my ball... jars.

I have worked my entire working life starting with a real job in a factory building refrigerators. Even a factory with good house keeping is still a dirty dusty place so I run them through the dishwasher before using them.

When it comes to canning food we always wash the jars, but with tobacco I have never washed them. 😮

I always wash my jars and lids. Lots of "stuff" can get into or on the jars and lids during manufacturing. 💨💨

I have always washed mine. I always figured that was just me being a bit ANAL, but they smell musty/dirty straight from the PACKAGE, and i dont want that to TAINT my tobacco.

I always wash them out and get the replacement lids when changing blends, but I’m ocd

I wash my jars for the same reasons you have in the past. Oh, and wash your balls!😂😂

I just rinse with high proof alcohol(everclear) and call it good.
