Thanks For the juicy information CEO. Would that apply to a End Dump that's 36x102x75 with 6 axles. The truck is a Cascadia daycab 475hp tri axle 13 speed with wheelbase of 221. In NC we can haul up to 132,000lbs with a one way permitt with 7 axles. I would have 10 axles total.
You have been very helpful about the dump truck business I’m seriously thinking about doing it. I don’t know if I want to get a dump truck or a day cab but thank you for all your information
Taking notes on great direction to get and keep my new Trucking business started and keep it going. I can not tell you how much you are helping to reach my goals THANK YOU lets keep trucking.
@@thecountryceo3535 I got a question…should my buddy and myself go in as business partners with Dump trucks and an LLC or should we get separate Dump Trucks with separate LLC’s?
On point once again! Do you find construction companies welcoming and responsive to new dump truck companies? Could you relate any experiences? Love your stuff brother!
Here in nj the turkish folks got the dump truck game locked and they work for cheap they fight each other to get contracts and it keeps getting cheaper and cheaper
@@thecountryceo3535 very serious 17 years ago i drove a tri axle getting paid by the load we was making good money the guy i worked for passed away so i went over the road i wanted to take some time off from otr so i went to drive tri axle but the price was no where near what i was making back then and doing the same jobs too it's crazy how prices keeps getting cheaper but the cost of living keeps getting higher
@ The Country Ceo....I just pulled up my state DOT website and located a project that's supposed to take place next year around the time I'm looking to go into business. Would it be professional to reach out to the DOT POC for that project via email even though I'm not in business yet? How receptive do you think they would be to providing me information?Again, I'm doing all my research so that I can hit the road running with as much knowledge as possible.
You provide a lot of value and information with this channel!!! What brand truck do you recommend if buying used in the $40000-$65000 price range. Also do you have a year and mileage preference? for example no trucks older than 15 years with more than 350,000 miles. Any input would be greatly appreciated??
I'm kind of biased to macks. Western Stars are good to. 45-60 range will probably have you in a 2009 - 2012. Range. Mileage average for a truck is 50000 miles a year. So multiply years of truck times the mileage.
@@thecountryceo3535 Thank you!! Im currently running tractor trailers now, but making the transition to dump trucks, your channel is amazing. Keep up the great content!
Happy new year... liking the new blue background and appreciate the consistent content... off today's topic but do you think someone should start building business credit prior once they get the llc and ein but prior to purchasing a truck and getting insurance?
Thanks bro. Yes I think that's a good idea. If one has no business credit they are going to look at the personal credit history. So the earlier the better
it would be nice to mention getting loaded takes time as well if the loader is in a bad mood like always they will load you like shit and not to motion if there's 50 trucks already there the pay means jack squat if you can only get loaded 3 times a day lol there's more to it than just the grind... Dump truck business is a rough one im in it and its not for the weak i tell you that it will ruin your life if you dont play the game right...
Yes sir bro. Of course just like any business there are things you have to deal with. I think it depends on the temperament of the individual in how they respond. Sure there are days where these loader men are grouchy and crazy but I always prided myself on not letting their mood affect mines. I definitely agree it can be a rough business but I also believe what doesnt kill you makes you stronger. Im a living witness to that. I chose to rise to the challenge of it and the rewards have been sweet
@@thecountryceo3535 see the problem here is from what I'm told because this is going on my second year that these Cubans came here from Florida and just lowered the pay and screwed everyone they buy shitty trucks and bid way low... and If I carry 20 tons at some jobs the drive is an hour plus ain't worth it I also think its too many trucks here
@@stillblastin96 Dude you are not going to believe this. About 12 years ago we had the same thing happened. About 20 of them came from Florida, rented a house and stayed about two months.
My husband sold his dumptruck (was an independent dumptruck owner/Operator ) we just bought a business license to start our llc as a dumptruck broker because he was not getting paid from the middleman (broker) for like 3 months! We have the monetary ability to get drivers paid in 30 days! So we are doing it. Tomorrow we are gonna wo work on getting our logo and we're going to go to Kinko's to get some truck tickets and he's already reached out to a couple of contacts and they are interested in going through us to get jobs... we are un Utah.. what else should we get going on to get running? Please msg me or comment back to give me some ideas on how to get rolling sir. I'd appreciate it so much! Kindly, Shantel
Are you guys going to still get another truck for yourselves? Is there anyway truckers can be paid in 2 weeks? 30 days is just too long in my opinion. Use social media to let trucker know you exist
@@thecountryceo3535 yeah its very common out here that most brokers don't pay contractors up to 90 DAYS. even past that. Isn't that insane? guess that's how they do things out here. It's the way it's always been.. with every broker too not just one and not just him. So even 30 days is way better.. but yeah we could probably 2 weeks eventually.
@@thecountryceo3535 he paid off his truck and turned around after 4 years and sold it to get our business going. We are going to use social media to market ourselves plus he has a ton of contacts already from driving.. besides truck tickets and invoices, workmen's comp waivers, what else should we get together to get going?
@@thecountryceo3535 so other than that, how do we get organized to get things off the ground?.. like I said, we are planning to stand out from other brokers out here by getting people paid sooner... but what else should we do to start pushing? Do you have any advice on how to best negotiate with other construction companies to get top dollar for these independent drivers? Were you ever a broker or just a owner/Operator? Any knowledge helps
