I appreciate how you share your knowledge and experience. I am on the verge of taking the risks of being a dump truck owner. Peace from Petersburg, Va.
OG thanks for the dropping Dimes man I really appreciate it. Use word captions when you mention your topics or points. That really helps us who likes to take notes
Where can I find a ready to work or close to dump truck? Auctions? Websites? Keep in mind my credit is shitty to be honest with you but I’m fixing it but I have a nice job so I can put some money together
Thanks again for replying man, when I get everything together, I’ll pay you whatever amount to be my mentor! I live in Kenner which is maybe an hour and 10 minutes away from Baton Rouge. Not far at all
You'll be @ 1k subs in no time. As always great topic. Wish me luck I have to retest to get the automatic restriction removed in 2 weeks with no practice lol.
What if you just got your cdl 1 year ago and you are 21 years old but have a 700 credit score can you finance a dump truck not really alot of work history by being 21
@@thecountryceo3535 it for my son an he has been driving a semi for a owner operator since he first got his license 1 year ago and now he has saved up his money and I am going to match him to help him out with the 20% down payment because he really wants to try to get a truck asap do you think it's even possible because he's planning on going to the dealership today
@@bigdoggs357 anything is possible but typically you need to have an LLC for 2 years, 700 credit score and 6 months working in the industry looks good on the application. But hey money talks to
It may depend on your location but typically the regular dump is better and more versatile. If you do a belly dump your limited to the types of jobs you can do such as asphalt etc. If you get a regular dump you get paid a good rate in most circumstances.
Good morning Im in the Ga area looking for a dump truck too finance. I have 1yr experience an ready too take off on my own. I just some guidance & good mentor to help along the way. If you have any info they’ll help me get started. I have my LLC already
Hey man love your content !! Looking to buy a truck but i was told it cant be financed under my own name it has to be under an llc due to it being commercial? Any tips ?
I’m starting my cdl classes next week I’m getting A’s but I wanna just do B’s I wanna start a dump truck business what’s the first steps before or after getting my cdls?
@@thecountryceo3535 I myself drove cement for 2 years and drove the company dump truck on cold days I was blessed enough to purchase my first dump truck ,bad truck expensive lesson but im determined to make it I just gotta find better equipment and a way to obtain it is my road block
hey so i have a good amount for down payment around 15,000 but my credit not soo good. i do have a commercial license. If i get a family member to take it out for me, would it matter later onn once i get to the permits and insurance if the truck is not registered to me? Or would i be just fine?
Can you tell me the best way to structure my upcoming new dump truck business should it be LLC,IONC,or Enterprise these it could be booking work in the long run.
Here is a couple of places to look. New York State Dept of Transportation bid letting, City of New York Road and Bridge Jobs for bid letting, New York chamber of Commerce. Call General contractors who do road and bridge work. Check out my video on " how to find work for your dump truck"
Do you have any experience using dumps for storm cleanup jobs? I imagine on the coast there would be high demand at certain times. Obviously not consistent but possibly a way to supplement income.
Unfortunately yes but beware. Went to NO after Katrina. Got paid 90 bucks and hour for the first week. Made 20k in 2 weeks time. The next two weeks we worked for another company from out of town and got screwed. The contractor was from Atlanta and skipped town with the money. I lost 11000$. Tried to get a lawyer but they never could get my money. Be sure to get with a good company. Also if its by the hour your good but some of these company want to pay you by the cubic yard for trash. I don't fool with them.
If you are going to a dealer they will typically have several companies they deal with. Try also your local staple banks like chase, wells fargo, and bank of america. Also look under the comments on this video and you should see a guy that connected to the channel called rho financial.
@@Xanps9424 I use Keystone Equipment Finance for my semi trucks and went thru Richie brothers financing for a reefer trailer. I still haven’t bought a dump truck yet, hopefully one day!
Great advice Country CEO! As for someone who is considering being a dump truck owner operator, can you name couple of pre-owned truck models you recommend for around 90-100k price range. I like Mack, KW and Piterbilt.
Yes I can, you already named three of the top brands Mack Granite, or GUP, Peterbilt 567, KW T800 or 880, or W900, I would add western star to that group, i cant think of the model right now its just one I believe.
@@thecountryceo3535 thank you 🙏 much appreciated, and if I may ask, what is the most mileage you would consider on something like that? I’ve seen some with over 300k miles which seems high.
@@Lilleleniko_ you figure the average mileage for a dump truck thats working pretty good is 50000 miles per year. so you multiply that times the age of the truck to see if its been working average or overworked
Hey I’m 19 and planning on getting my cdl soon and I know people who own dump trucks that would help me out in that industry. what would you recommend should I try to finance a truck or work for someone?
I appreciate this valuable information.I have all of the boxes checked to be approved for a loan, but will the finance the truck if I don't already have a business or truck?
Very informative!! How many trucks do you currently operate? What state did you finance your truck(s) in? What are the biggest challenge(s) you've experienced as owner/operator since the pandemic? Thanks in advance!!
