I prefer to have arrangements and additional blooms, buds, and leaves. Your new stamp and die set is perfect in my opinion! All three cards are beautiful!
I too like it when you give us both an arrangement and additional blooms, buds and leaves. Beautiful flowers and great coloring, thanks a always for sharing and all the inspiration.
Beautiful set! I also love sets that have arrangements and extra filler blooms, buds and leaves. This set ticks all the boxes PLUS a bonus frame! I love it!
I'm a fan of a larger pre-made arrangement with several extra blooms and leaves so I can add to the main or scatter the extras in different areas. I like to use my stamps & dies with scrapbooking so I love variety of stamp sets! Love stretching my supplies! 😉❤
These cards are gorgeous. In an ideal world I'd get this entire Honeybee release! 😂 I like both pre assembled and individual pieces. The beauty of this set is the mix. If anything the individual pieces get more use in my scrapbooking as I can tuck in a few extras to fill out and shape the page.
Absolutely love your new release. Not your typical bloom. Isn't God awesome, he makes flowers that can push through snow❤🙏 I prefer the option of arranging a scene with focal blooms & additional leaves & blooms. Thank you for this beautiful tutorial.❤🌻
Gorgeous cards! I like a pre-built bouquets when I am in a rush to make a card but I prefer single flowers and greenery when I can get in touch with my inner florist to build my own. 💕 💐 🇬🇧
I love the 3 cards You really did good explaining where to put shadows So need that! I would like an occasional option of the flowers being separate flowers because then I can layer them up at different dimensions or use on pop up cards etc HOWEVER ONLY if the stamp set included at least one good example picture on the packaging of how it could be arranged by the designer 😅😅😄❤️Much much with trick or treating 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Creativity wise, I prefer to create my own arrangements and have endless options. Reality wise, I don't always have the time to mask and do all that. So, it's nice to have prearranged floral arrangements in my stash so I can just stamp and color and basically be done.
Beautiful cards, Kelly. Thank you. In my case, I used to prefer all the flowers already arranged in a set because I didn't have many ideas on how to place the flowers to make them look nice. But now, as time goes by and I'm learning with fantastic card creators like you... now I feel that I can run the risk of arranging my own bouquets. Therefore, I'm leaning towards sets like yours. Thank you for teaching me the art of expressing myself through cards. Greetings from Morelia México
Wow! I remember one of your videos where you drew a flower to color (I think you might've been testing markers or something) and in it you claimed that your sister was the real artist, but you just dabble here and there (paraphrasing) - look at you now! You have AMAZING stamp sets and you too are an artist Kelly Taylor! Don't sell yourself short! I don't know you personally, but I am so proud of you! Beautiful stamp set and beautiful cards. As for your question, I don't have a preference. I like both ways.
I love this stamp and die set! It has a cluster of flowers already arranged, and it has individual flowers. This way, we have the option of making own arrangement, or using the pre-arranged cluster- especially when time is limited.
I like both, I like your stamp set, beautiful! I appreciate your tutorial!!! Taylor Swift - guitar shaped/decorated cake with musical note cupcakes and a pic of Taylor on the cake table.
Pretty Kelly…you have come a long way since I started watching you. Your son was very little back then. I wanted to learn to copic color and you were telling how to do it. I am still trying to copic color, LOL!! Great job!!
What a great tip regarding the postage frame and die! I become frustrated with some wiggly stamps that I have. 😜 And as always...I love your cards and videos.
I like to make my own arrangements overall, however, one of my recent cards was an arrangement with stencils for coloring. I had a limited time frame and loved the finished product.
I'd never really thought about prearranged versus single blooms/leaves before, I just buy florals I find appealing and use DT designs for inspiration if needed. I think having both like your new set is ideal because then we have choices. All three cards are beautiful and you're so smart to use a winter blooming flower for your new illustration that is different from what we usually see for the holidays, although I love those too. Now I'm off to HB to check it all out! BTW, we too here in Idaho have had clear sunny days but rain is expected toght and all through Halloween. Such a bummer. I hope you and your family still have a fun time!
I like individual blooms. Sometimes I like a style but really don't have the time to color a whole cluster. Sometimes I just want a simpler card. So for me, the individual blooms are more versatile.
I like arrangements that are made as not good at putting together flower arrangements on my cards. Lovely cards and such pretty colors and a great story about these coming up out of the snow. When my daughter was growing up, made all the cakes, she was into some band with a male singer (think it was something Elliot). I made the cake look like a stage on the top layer, ran him off the internet and had him singing on top of the cake and put his band members, too. It was cool from the front but not dimensional. You could also record or play a "Swifty" song in the background. So many theme cakes over the years. Maybe my input will spark something for you to create for the cake.
Beause I am not creative, I need the stamp and go. I can troubleshoot better than create. This set is perfect. The main group with the smaller individual flowers gives me options.
I'm afraid I would be no help to you in which is better an arrangement vs individual flower. I like the individual flower to use as a less complicated focal point - making it easier to be creative. The arrangement it is mostly figured out - useful for a quick fast card to do and requiring less thinking and more creativity. What would be really cool individual flowers with a set of stencils for ink blending - love your cards!🥰😍🤩
I love your cards and videos so much! I always am sad when I watch them as soon as they are posted and then have nothing to watch. LOL But these cares are beautiful! As for your question: I don't like the white outline. I also don't like fussy cutting. So, for stamps, I like pre-arranged flowers. For dies, i like the separate and then arrange them myself. For the cake idea, you could make the cake like a stage. Or you can make the cake a friendship bracelet theme.
I prefer an arrangement of flowers, as I can never seem to arrange them successfully, and that is true with real flowers too. If you can't find a Taylor Swift shirt for your daughter, you can always get her a Kamala one! 😁💙💙💙💙💙
i like both flower's alone and a pre-arranged set. How about a music note cake? or a music sheet. A swag music sheet cake with musical notes. Honey bee has a stamp set like that.
I like the bouquets because it is easier for cards. Your cake could have music notes and a guitar or get the printable edible paper with some song lyrics on it. Good luck!
Lovely cards Kelly, and a beautiful illustration. As for florals, I do like arrangements, but appreciate when there are a few extra flowers to change it up. As for the Taylor Swift themed birthday, I don’t know much about her, but I believe that she does something with friendship bracelets? What about doing cupcakes as the beads of a bracelet?
Always prefer a stamp set created by a cardmaker rather than an artist. I have a few Pollyanna Pickering stamps beautiful drawings but no clue as to how the artist intended them to be used on a card.
I'm in southwest Ohio and we are expecting rain too (bummer). I like how you include prearranged bouquets and separate blooms (depends on my mood or how much time I have to create). It is hard to tell, are the separate blooms the same size as the bouquet blooms so that they could be layered on top of each other for dimension?
