Very well said sir Perfectly explained why they both can be compared and also not compared at same time Both the cars stand at different approach from buyer and thar gets its major selling because of the looks and not its capability to go off the road Jimny is more practical, yes it’s smaller in size but equally capable and the reason it’s selling less as people are preferring looks over capability.
I have 8 vehicles within my house, including Thar Automatic Diesel and very recently purchased Jimny Alpha Automatic..... My verdict is if you have a bit of skill to drive and moreover you have a small family, and you use the vehicle mostly in City, or small road trips... just go for jimny Automatic..... it's very premium, practicle, and comfortable vehicle comparitvely, which can overcome any obstacle, and also very durable kind of vehicle....., but if you looking for fast and punchy driving then you may go for Thar....
