Dawg, there is no mixed opinions about adblockers amongst it's users. Ads are too aggressive. Adblockers alleviate my system resources from allocating too much to something I'd rather not see. Ads are beneficial to the sender, not the receiver. Therefore the only mixed opinions are people vs. advertisers. This isn't even mentioning the hundreds of times ads have been used to circumvent virus protection. There are too many reasons to use an adblocker and not enough reasons to not use one. "Oh my favourite content creator" there will be more. Even with that, long time content creators do just fine.
Adblockers are a symptom of problem, ads are too intrusive and we live in an age where we always rushing to do something. The other problem is your content could be A+++++ , but your not even going to get a chance in many cases to show your content if you/your platform is bombarding the user with intrusive ads vs you know somebody that you like, because of quality content and your willing to watch ads, because you think it worth the time + you support the content creator as well, I think that's how most people are.
