When I first started quilt making, I was trying to quilt a throw quilt on my little Brother machine and quickly became so frustrated. My hands kept slipping, my stitch length was really inconsistent and I just wanted to give up. I felt like I was ruining the quilt that I'd worked so hard to create.
I ran across quilting gloves at JoAnn's and it was literally a night and day difference! Quilting gloves just give you an extra grip to your fabric. If you've been on the fence about purchasing...do it!
Money saving tip: Inexpensive gardening gloves (with the dots on the palms) are essentially the same thing to the $10-$20 pairs you'll see in sewing shops and online.
