I am still getting used to free motion quilting. My little old machine is very basic but solid... practice makes perfect and I don't mind the practice 😉 all those fun projects/presents to make is what keeps me going. Thank goodness my friends and family appreciate my "interesting" quilting patterns 😆

I have a basic machine. No speed control or drop feed dogs options. It did come with a darning plate but I haven’t attempted using it yet. This makes me want to try.

Tip: Because that’s a Bernina hopping foot, like any hopping feet it can also be used on your Q20.

An interesting foot

I was told it’s called a darning foot from my janome dealer

That is a nice quilting or free hand sowing, I have a Elna, I ordered a quilting foot, but I don’t know how it’s going to fit on my machine because my machine has clip on feet. And that swivels around the shaft, so I am wondering if I didn’t get the wrong one. Although it did state it’s for Elna machines. So will just wait and see. Want to try doing the smaller quilts hope I can do it. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤔. ❤️🌹❤️🌹
