I love this movie! It’s basically all but forgotten about nowadays it’s definitely underrated overall. I do wonder what it would’ve been like if this movie came out today instead of back in 2006!
The tie-in video game was a lot of fun as well from what I remember too. It’s been ages since I played it on PS2 but I liked how it was a proper sequel to the movie rather than being based on the movie except for the first level taking place right at the end of the movie I’m pretty sure.
It’s also an exceptional voice cast too. Bruce Willis, Wanda Sykes, Steve Carrell, Allison Janney, Thomas Haden Church, Eugene Levy, Avril Lavine. The list goes on. I forgot the one who voiced Verne the turtle however.
I can’t wait for the wild robot releasing at the end of September too! It looks amazing overall I think. Apparently it’ll be the last dreamworks animation move down in house before it’s all outscored to Sony Imageworks I think it is. Why is a shame but at the same time it is what it is at the end of the day.
You remember Bee Movie at all? Do you ever plan to talk about that movie anytime soon? Very underrated as well too. I love Jerry Seinfeld. “Do you like jazz?”
Hey, first time view. Fantastic job! I love the cuts, and I think this is great editing! I don't really know how to say this, and it could be just a trick of the light, but you appear to have yellow discoloration around your eyes. That is a sign of liver failure, and as a recovering alcoholic, I am familiar with the symptoms. If you are already aware, find this comment obnoxious, or just don't want to talk about this, please delete this comment. I love your content so far and want you to be around to analyze more great films!
Hello there! I've never been aware of this issue, nor has anyone told me this before. I don't drink, but I do know that one can still get liver disease, even without consuming alcohol. When I look in the mirror my eyes are white, but I'll make a note of it and bring it up at my annual doctor's visit. The yellow discoloration could also be caused by different LED screens. Each one can bring in different tints, hues, and shades. Pair that up with my terrible color-graduating skills, and things will probably have a yellow tint. I do appreciate your concern! I'll be sure to keep an eye on it (no pun intended) Hope all is well, will you! Take care, my friend =)
My favourite scene in the movie, RJ said to Verne. “That’s a diaper. You wouldn’t want to eat that. It comes out of a wazoo.” Close call am I right? Lol
I actually remember my brother and I had a video game thing of dream work movies. I can't recall it very well but I do know there was a game of Shrek or maybe Donkey flying on a broom stick XD
Have you seen puss in boots the last wish at all? It’s such an amazing movie I think and makes me even more excited for Shrek 5 as well but I doubt it’s going to use the same animation style as the aforementioned movie. I hope it goes back to the older classic movie style from the 2000s. It probably won’t be exactly the same but maybe close enough?
Yes, I have! I believe I made a video about it as well? Personally, I like the storybook style that combines 2d and 3d. I'd like to see more 3d movies go in that direction.
Do you ever plan to talk about the captain underpants movie from 2017 at all? Also made by dreamworks and I remember in a previous video I commented you asking that questions saying you read the books when you were younger. I really enjoy the movie overall. I do prefer the books and the movie is similar in a lot of aspects but different enough so it’s not the exact same thing and works pretty well overall. It’s worth at least one watch too.
Hello friend! Loved the video, but did wanna mention something; I think the word you’re looking for is “Respective” as opposed to “Respected” at several points in the video. Not a jab, and sorry if this comment is annoying- just wanted to offer some info that might go overlooked. Keep up the content! 👍
Hello there! Yes, you are definitely right, "Respective," is the word I was going for...haha. Thank you for the grammar lesson. I don't find it annoying whatsoever. I'm dyslexic, so sometimes I get a little mixed up with words...haha! Take my friend. And I hope you have a great rest of your day =)
@@CinemaOverAnalyzed once again, loved the video- big fan of recaps and reviews of movies from my childhood. Mayhaps you might choose a topic like James & the Giant Peach, or even Pagemaster. Just a thought. Thank you for taking my words in the helpful way they were meant- all the best.
Also I know this is gonna sound really strange coming from me, and I know in the past you’ve said you’re not a fan of Illumiantion but realistically, both them and Dreamworks animation are owned by the same company now with Universal. So I almost see both of them as one and the same now because of how most of the creatives work off each other and jumping in with different projects etc… I mean I know it’s not exactly the same but you get what I’m saying right? Basically similar to Disney animation and Pixar obviously both being owned by Disney. As well as Blue Sky Studios for a short time period too.
I understand where you are coming from. But I still see Pixar and Walt Disney Animation as two different studios. I don't know much about DreamWorks and Illumation through.
