I get that. I was actually surprised that the design wasn't more elaborate when I first saw it. Felt like the dragon from fairy tales. Didn't help that you were in a castle like stage.

Right! You would think he’s just some done-before black dragon, but M A N. He reminds me of Zenitsu a bit. All he has is fire, but he’s mastered it to the point that I fear that fire more than some ice or thunder attacks. Idk anyone that can make flaming land mines with their breath alone. Damn.

His fight got improved in 4u by a lot. Of course it still doesn't compare to what iceborne did to him

@@WisdomAkpan211 yeah but 4U is to me better bc you can actually play semi seriously/casually and have a chance of beating him. Iceborne's is cool too but damn it's just not enjoyable if you don't have a literal set just made to beat him and have master knowledge of mechanics But the head break being necessary is incredibly bad in my opinion

Most 2nd gen monsters were great actually. Rajang, Teostra, Akantor, D. Hermitaut and S. Ceanataur, Tigrex, Narga etc. Fatalis is pretty bad because he got ported unchanged from gen 1, like most other gen 1 monsters in FU.

@@hugo-pg5tv lots of one shot move , and here peppo is baiting his pattern , knows the hzv which we didn't have at the time it's mostly a boring fight in which i fyou get hit you die and there's ton of HP so it's a matter of doing a mostly no damage run.

I was 9 when I defeated my first G-rank Fatalis solo, since then I've been trying to solo all of his variations in every game!

@HandsOffMyTendies Found the boomer "veteran" hunter. Literally look at peppos own comments lol. Anyone whos been playing this series for long will tell you the old fatalis fight is easy compared to iceborne.

@HandsOffMyTendies This Fatalis was a pushover compared to 4th gen and ESPECIALLY 5th gen Fatalis.

I started with Freedom just before Tri came out and I’ve been hooked on the series ever since. Went back and played freedom 2 and FU. In my honest veteran opinion I find the iceborne fatalis to be the harder version of base fatalis. Crimson and White are a different story however

No, it just appears like that, because this is played on a handheld, compare the hunter with Fatalis's feet and see how big he actually is.

@@Someone_KhabibbeatsJonesEASILY No he's definitely smaller. In 4U and Iceborne you could not reach his chin with an overhead LS swing, and 4U is handheld also.

Sorry but 4U LS is so bad I just can’t. I would rather do this Fatalis naked with sword and shield rather than playing LS in fourth generation

@@PeppoLS I agree that 4u LS was a bit weird, but it was still manageable. I'm not sure why they made you lose all spirit levels once one depleted, and im also not sure why you couldn't refresh a level. What the strategy became for 4u LS was you would stay in yellow gauge until it almost runs out, then you level it up to red. Besides that, 4u added the fade slash into spirit 3 shortcut compared to 3u/p3rd. This at least makes it faster to level up your gauges. You can still play and enjoy 4u ls despite its shortcomings. It's understandable if you still won't What I don't understand is that you said you don't like 4th gen ls. GU valor ls is really great. It's a more risk-reward/balanced playstyle for counter ls than world or rise. Especially rise. But you enjoy rise ls. If that's the case, what's wrong with valor ls?

first get his armor from breaking the head twice. then make a switch axe build and spam the discharge move on his legs/head. don't forget heavy artillery and ghillie mantle for the cannons

Feel u. Use switch axe cheese zsd. It works and not too risky. Considering u said a year u should have some mats from the cat steals.
