Do you remember Yama Tsukami? 

Imagine if they made it a special hunt in Sunbreak. Focused on platforming and movement inside the tower around something that constantly shoots stuff at you like a mobile battlestation while also trying to deal damage to it.

Yama Tsukami , Nakarkos, and Dalamadur are the big three that I rly wish make a comeback for future MH games. Rly hope they bring back athal-ka too, but that probably a lot harder

Now I’m a rather young monster hunter fan, born in 2006 but I fell in love with the series immediately, I started with generations ultimate back in 2019 and I’ve loved the game since. Since I started I’ve gone back and played almost every game and freedom unite was amazing, it was a great feeling finally slaying Yama Tsukami.

Such an underrated Monster. I love its design, is so alien and unique. This fight should really return in Sunbreak, would be really cool with the wirebugs.

I do remember, its honestly one of the coolest monsters to have been created, its so different from the other types that is honestly deserving of a come back...

I never noticed he had two little claws on each tentacle. Would have been so dope to see an endemic life video of this thing. Those videos were so cool.

I would love if you did a showcase of these old monsters armor and weapons and maybe even ranked them based on viability, because the wiki on some of the older or not well known lack images and completely how the fights go down

The most unique monster of the main line series

Yama Tsukami is the one monster that I would love to be in sunbreak, then I can die a happy man

Yama Tsukami would fit right into Rise, uit would sinergize well with all the new wirebug moves.

Got like 1600 hours in this game back in the days and this game is just one of the best childhood games

I really miss the variety of things that MHFU had. OP weapons with awesome designs. A bunch of subspecies that still hasn’t returned. A good lore around the Fatalis. Variety of maps like the old swamp, the jungle, big forest, etc. Good armor designs and a lot more. I play MH since MHF2 and I can say without a doubt that MHFU was a masterpiece with hitboxes included. Even the animations on weapons with dragon element are better than the one we have currently…

No, but thats why I bought freedom unite at a retro game store so I can fight some if these older versions of monsters and even a few that haven't returned. I don't play it that often, but I have played up to hypnocoteise so far.

You guys got no idea how much I want this giant squid ball to come back. Ever since World, I've always had this made up theory that one of the islands of the new world might actually be the back of a slumbering Giant Variant Yama Tsukami. I've always had some sort of favoritism for this elder ever since I fought it years ago and always wanted to know if it can have other forms.

I hope they bring Yama back someday, its fight should definitely be modernised. Fighting it with the wirebugs would be very entertaining!

I haven't forget Yama even tho I never reached it. But I admit there's a point where I forgot Vespoid Queen and King Shakalaka before.

MHFU hitbox.. how i miss it. Hitting the same spot and not hitting the 2nd time around and the monster didnt ever move

Looks like a Dark Souls Boss to me haha Would be kind of cool to have such battles in Sunbreak or MH6 - since I first started to play Monster Hunter with World (probably because I never heard of the games as I was younger and playing with a (3)DS for example)

This is a dumb question but hiw do you make the quest completion music to be off. The fight theme is there but no celebration music on the end.

The future of the series is bright. Look at World did with Rajang, Braccy, Fatalis, etc. They are so monsters fights that can be reworked for the better

Oh yeah, the flying octopus blob thingy that's hard to reach Man, it suck to fight with shorter reach weapons. I first fought it at dos iirc. It sucked hard because you attack with analog stick. Thank god they used face button now.

I wanted this guy in Rise so much. Amatsu too.

Ah yes, the monster that made me think about the uses of properly timed Sharpening.

The only other monster besides Fatalis that kept on on my toes, for his inhale move would always be an insta-cart without Guts or Moxie. Truly, I remember fighting this thing many times after-school with some friends.

my cousin and me accidentaly found a way to survive the sucking attack of the yama tsukami. Normaly you would instantly die if you get into the sucking tornado but if your team m8 uses lifepowder in the exact right moment then you survive the attack with one HP
