Shoddiocracy! I think that's a keeper! I'm going to put that in my pocket of useful words. Some of those jokes were still funny, tho hobbled a bit by the wordiness of language back then.

The video clearly shows life in the USA at the end of the 19th century 1880-1899 But the suspension railway is in Germany/Wuppertal.

By the way, the 17th century was from 1600-1699. 1800-1899 was the 19th century. Your title says, "17th Century Slang."
