I’ve had this for years, it’s an amazing way to control dust. I’m happy with the very fine dust getting sucked out and larger stuff landing in hood bottom. Sometimes I’ll even use without dust collector and it works amazing still.

Oddly I realized that I would have to build something like this to contain this beast. I have a 3hp 230v 1500CFM dust extractor that should do just fine. This is the messiest tool in the shop and throws crap for miles so this is nice to see. Thanks. Always better to have too much suction than barely adequate.

I use a large box that works just as good with only 2x4s but not good at all on say 10 inch boards since the blade is further away...

Can you take that tent camping when your not dust collecting with your shirt inside out?

Can I go on a 12 inch miter saw

Great for shop use, but terrible for contractors who work on site, too much set up time involved, for that you need a sheet of plywood behind the saw with a vac hose attached to localize the dust

Nice video as always. I will say though it looks like a 2 man pup tent on your saw, and rather inconvenient in my opinion. I would rather live with the dust. You and yours stay safe and healthy.

Great video! I made something like that out of some 1x2 and a vinal shower curtain. Would rather have that, but for 15 dollars, I won't complain! I would love to see a video on your clamp rack on the wall behind you!

I swear I thought this was a wind up video. This looks like a great idea but £150 they're having a laugh. £20 they would sell like hot cakes. I'll rig up a bin liner With supports until the makers of this see some pricing sense for now though 👍

Do you think you could squish the hood against the wall (so the hood is kinda pancaked) to save space?

$159+...not worth it. It is functional I am sure, but similar results can be obtained for far less than $159.00.
