This particular Frenchie, yes, definitely. But i have seen Frenchies that were built way more athletic, and had lots of stamina, running and swimming for hours, (not overheating because of the water, and they actually had snouts and big noses). Those Frenchies also had way more drive, chasing rabbits. And they took on other dogs who tried to take their toys, rather feisty. Guess there was more terrier in their lineage, and a bit less bulldog.
