Breaking fast in Seoul.
I went on a doctor-approved hike after a short sabbatical from outdoor activities to focus on my health. My legs were heavy and an ankle was painful probably from eating too many mung bean pancakes the day previous. I love this weather, and I also love this season, even though the -10°C punished me each time I took off my gloves to take a photo.
I was the only foreigner on the trail (or at least the only one who looked so obviously different), so I was frequently asked: where are you from? In total I covered a distance of more than 8km, with an elevation gain of close to 700 meters. I finished in just over 4 hours including the times I played in snow and treaded carefully when I walked on ice.

Yes I think so. They told me I could rent crampons for the hike but I didn’t go there anymore since I already own a pair. But just ask them and you’ll find it.

@@adelinapatricia17 good luck. You’ll need crampons. That’s about it.

What month you went there? and what the temperature during the hike?

I did this hike in late January. The temperature in Seoul was -10, but I saw an electronic billboard that placed the temperature near the peaks at -16 C. That’s why I’m wrapped like that.

@ialman how about the hike difficulty, especially during winter, and how much duration for the return trip?
@ialman
@ialman 7 месяцев назад
@@AjanApin they’re all in the video actually. The tricky thing about a snowy or winter hike is the need to wear crampons in some places where there’s ice. Although I think others managed without crampons. I started a little past 7AM and got back down past 12. So not too short, not too long. I prefer a cold hike over a warm/hot hike so it wasn't too difficult.
