That’s considered an epic day for me 😅 nice chunky bass too. I need to go somewhere and kill it cuz ive been on a rough stretch lately 😩😭 you guys make it look too easy! I may need to book a trip with you guys since I hate traveling that far by myself
Welcome back! Did you look for schools in deep, open water? If the big ones aren’t schooling or hanging out around docks, where do you think they are? Yet another Clearlake mystery I guess. Did you try worms for bluegill? Lastly, it’s kind of tough to use spot-lock when in and around docks. How did you keep your boat so steady?
Did not look in the deep open water. The big ones are a mystery at the moment. We looked but could not find the bluegills or redears. I always use the spot-lock, you just have to set it on the correct spot. I have a minn kota and it usually has a 5’ ft drift radius, as long as you understand that you’re fine.
@@fishingaddict5638 Very helpful, thanks. While Clearlake is indeed bountiful, it can become a ghost town at the drop of a hat. In an instant bluegill, redears, and decent size crappie just seem to vanish.
