My husband is a pharmacist and it blows his mind that people think that cannabis is so much worse for them than the drugs they take for diseases. Such as seizures, Parkinson’s, MS, etc. I met a man that was having 20-30 seizures a day. He started using a baby dose of cannabis and hasn’t had a seizure in three years. Yes, it is to be used with caution and not for fun. It should only be used as medication.

It’s true because I’m from the Caribbean and my uncle’s all in their 70’s fit as a fiddle and smoke daily. BUT they do not use tobacco nor take other drugs, barely drink and eat fresh organic foods straight from the land. So from where I’m sitting it looks like a dietary issue and abuse of unnatural more harmful intoxicants. It’s also not addictive which may also be another positive contributing factor.

I am 60 and love walking my dog on the beach or woods with a dube. It takes away my chronic nerve pain so I can walk longer. I have 3 chronic pain issues and used to be on all kinds of pills. If you are having problems and want real solutions, talk in person or on the phone with a professional that deals specifically with the aliment you're having issues with. If you stay online, eventually you'll find exactly what you want to hear, good or bad. Neither may be what you need. Does that make sense? Millions and millions of intelligent beautiful smart men and women use marijuana in a responsible way and get endless relief from this natural plant that GOD put here for us to use, not abuse. And like all medications, what works for some, might not work for all or you. Don't close your mind. If you are a Christian and believe God put everything here on earth for us to use and take from, wouldn't marijuana a plant with endless possibilities, be from him as well? My sister-in-law was on so many doctor-prescribed medications that were very harmful and did little to help her pain. Another doctor prescribed Cannabis for her and now she is almost off all her medications. She is able to walk upright now (she has spinal degeneration), and the puffiness in her ankles has gone away totally. It has helped her sleep through the night. Previously, she was only getting 2 hours sleep (according to her). Young men under the age of 25 years should not smoke cannabis. Their brains have not stopped growing. We can't blame cannabis for psychosis as the only cause. A great many people were developing psychosis long before cannabis was on the scene (in first world countries). I know that it will help your Crohn's disease. It is well known for being a wonderful remedy for that disease. Sorry this was a long reply. God bless you.

I built a successful real estate biz and had every wish any person would dream of having. After genuinely repenting to Jesus one night i was able to overcome. I used to defend it passionately, being a green smoker that is. I was in denial the entire time. What I developed over years of use daily was mild schizophrenia, mild tourettes, growth and development in many areas mentally from constant chemical imbalances, lung damage, heavy depression and anxiety. That is just to list the first few. So yes weed is critical to your health. And most importantly it takes you away from being clean pure with a clear conscious whenever you spend time with him through prayer, worship and reading the Bible. There is a difference between someone who smokes once every few years to someone who needs it like oxygen. But if you have an addictive personality like me and so many other people then you will guarantee become a victim. Its a trashy low class lifestyle and now i clearly see it when i once was advocating for it passionately.

While all that is true, don’t overlook the underlying causes of addiction . While it is sad and often unresolved, it costs taxpayers more than they think. Sis was never meant to tackle that beast. Our government stole a majority of those funds. So while we are being hoodwinked into believing addiction is the only real problem, we literally are not looking at the reality. Funds both federal and private that are meant to help the addicted, don’t begin to cover it. It’s because there is so much funneling of those funds into other projects, programs meant to help are only receiving about 10%. It’s easier and cheaper to keep the addicted, addicted. Morally it’s wrong but that is why we will never change it. Funds don’t go where they are meant to. Then you have a government that is so corrupt, they take what they shouldn’t and don’t replenish what they take, making it all come back to the Tax payer. We need to change that part. It is out of control.
