@@missingnumberaxolotl-9079 As of 2024 in (most of) North America, alcohol and marijuana are both in the same league of compounds, i.e. acceptable for recreational use but can lead to dependence and have similar risk factors that can lead to legal consequences like DUIs. Let me rephrase that: both alcohol and your everyday weed are addictive and can literally land you in jail if you are being stupid. Now, the simple act of using them is harmless ish, and not much to note - but they're not for kids. Would you applaud and admire a teacher that encourages a high school student to bring, share and use alcohol in class? Never mind the fact that _burning_ the stuff releases cancerous shit to everyone in the class, so unlike alcohol you can't elect to not be affected by not partaking (source: I'm a chemist). I need not to elaborate, this shit is common sense to anyone with more than 2 digit IQ scores. Active wilful addicts and enablers are not welcome in schools.

Let us never forget the man who made a parachute suit and jumped off the Eiffel Tower to test it. He died because its material was too heavy to catch air and slow him. @14:24 Colon Cancer survivor. The effects of that softball-sized tumor that created a fistula between the colon and bladder put me in the hospital for two months. Chemo could have felt worse but was still horrible. Used scrip meds for the nausea. Worst part of chemo was hypersensitivity to cold - a problem made worse by it being winter, and, well, I live in Alaska.

Went to a drive-up Covid vaccination station for my second dose of the first round. While the person there was filling out my card, I jokingly asked “so is this the gay vaccine, the autistic vaccine, or the magnetic vaccine, because I already have autism and I got the magnetic one last time.” She totally got the joke, laughed and said “we can give you the gay one if that’s your preference.”

When i worked in a pub i was cleaning up at the end of a night and we found that in the gents toilet someone had turned the water off and filled the loo with bog roll. We turned the water back on and flushed the toilet, the bog roll disappeared and what was left could only be described as a large cannonball shaped turd that had us wondering how anyone managed to walk out after dropping that.

Can relate to the eye injury, true story, accidentally scraped a white of my right eye with the nail. Burned like hell, couldn't open my eye normally, so went to the ophthalmologist. They prescribed me with some kind of medical ointment and eye drops, yet still my eye starts to burn harder than the other eye every time if smoke gets in or if eyes start to physically hurt from the screenlight.

I coughed my tonsils out when i was a child. I was so scared to go to the doctor and my parents "threatened" me with it if i continued coughing at night, so i did it in quiet and suppressed and at some day this "thing" came out... I had blood taste for 2 days in my mouth after but it went away. Never had any issues since, but obviously its not recommendable... Just go and visist a doctor.

@@harryparsons2750 Yes. Reason was probably a Leiomyoma that grew around it. It got infected and completely dislodged because of extreme coughing over time. Thats what my doctor suspected atleast later when i told him about it. I have no tonsils despite never undergoing surgery. And no im not talking about the tonsil stones which can be coughed up but are usually just swallowed, im talking about my actual tonsils.

I have a ticcing disorder called CMTD (Chronic Motor Ticcing Disorder). It's different than Tourettes, but the tics are the same. My whole body constantly twitches uncontrollably, and there's no cure. However, I was put on some meds that help make the shaking more manageable from day to day. I wasn't born with tics, I developed them after my doctor upped the dosage on one of my medications for no reason and without permission from my parents.

Bruh when I was a kid my doc told my parents I had one of the worst cases of chickenpox he has ever seen, according to them it was in my mouth on my tongue and the palms of my hands and soles of my feet. Then I subsequently got scarlet fever like right after. Glad I don't remember much of it.

39:27 allergic reactions are very nasty and definitely life threatening. I can speak from experience as someone who would not survive a full year without anti allergic medication. People having strong allergic reactions to common stuff should always carry the medication on them. After having a reaction depending on how much resources the body mobilises you can easily fall asleep. Happened to me a couple times luckily i already took my medication, else I d be dead.

10:33 when I had my tonsils and adenoids taken out icecream sucked so bad. just made me nauseous. seriously couldn't touch sherbet for like a year after how sick it made me and how painful it was to gag and wretch at the time (and was my favorite flavor at the time). cold jello was the best thing I had ever eaten in my life those first couple days after.

I injured my cornea while taking a contact out. I couldn't see the damage, but it made my grandmother freak out. It hurt so freaking bad, and the swelling sure didn't help, lol. Luckily, it healed pretty quickly.

My aunt and uncle lived next door to my parents…My cousin got it first… My mom was so sweet to us and let us have a slumber party….little did we know…. The good thing was we all healed at the same time.. So we lived together ,cried together and got in trouble. I don’t know how I told mom she was conspiring against us… I liked military and spy movies. If we repeated the curse again we were doomed for a month.

The worst pain I ever experienced, that time they broke a minuscule part of my maxilla to extract my wisdom tooth which was impacted and deformed. You see, the operation was supposed to go smooth, but the X- rays did not show a small, funny detail: the back roots of my tooth were intertwined and the dentist discovered it while I was cut open. After 45 minutes of struggle the novocaine was starting to wear off and I got tears in my eyes, as the doctor had to remove the tooth piece by piece. I still remember that loud crack and the weird sensation of the scalpel cutting the gum. It felt as if my head was splitting open in a burning hot sting. I swear I saw white even with my eyes closed shut. The post operation was...damn. The worst sleepless night I ever had. Could not stop bleeding from the incision. But, despite the pain, I was surprised about how fast a human body can recover! Three days later I was able to eat semi solid food and a week later my stitches went off like that. Sometimes I still feel my bone ache when the humidity is high but all things considered they did a nice job!

I had to have an injection into my abdominal area to prevent clotting and the needle was very thin. It didn't hurt going in but 30 seconds or so afterward it stung a lot for around 20 mins.

7:15 my God! I laughed my ass off when I first saw this episode about Cartman being ginger. In the fact this is that I grew up with red hair and freckles, and they dissipated over my face a little bit, but I still have them over mainly my arms and a little bit of my legs, but my red hair turned to brown hair when I was an adult. But if I grow a beard, it turns red, so I’m kind of like a tap ginger in such a way, but still finding out what you found out on your own watching Cartman being tricked to faking he’s a ginger is one of the funniest episodes I’ve ever seen but there’s other so I can only say that I love South Park and what it’s comedy is and how far fetch the entries are, but it’s just entertainment that enjoy. I’m glad to see an actual physician and doctor watch something that’s committed value but still funny because I have different layers on it and it just makes me laugh more to see a doctor react and laugh, because it tells me you guys are more human than robot.when it comes to Dr. Fauci he’ll be looking for a way to make everyone ginger cause he’s a crazy nut bag. Даже если некоторые случаи кажутся ерундой или шуткой, то это абсолютно не так, когда ты с ними знаком. as an adult with ADHD i can say its much more than 'i cant focus'. its a dysregulation of dopamine in the brain, which can cause depression, lack of motivation, and especially for myself difficulty regulating emotions. at times the brain doesnt reward you with dopamine in times it should, causing lack of motivation for things like self care or performing necessary responsibilities, as well as apathy or emotional numbness. other times the brain is incorrectly flooded with dopamine causing a disproportionate emotional reaction and manic tendencies. the 'cant focus' part is just a secondary expressive symptom of a primary symptom of lack of motivation or care from the dopamine dysregulation.

Tourette's sindrome is something that could really mess up your social and overall life. I have it, luckily I have a very light version of it, so light I can function completely normaly, but it is still kinda visible sometimes and it is very awkward when people ask you, and it can sometimes push people away. Please be underestanding to people with it, it is not easy to learn control over it and it is just as awkward for the person with it as it is for the others if not more.

Cancer.... a runaway cell or group of cells that have seemingly abandoned the host colony (You and your body) in favor of itself. It will drain your body of resources and can cause medical complications if not treated. Cancer is inevitable, if you live long enough, you will develop it (gotta clarify here a bit, long enough, as in not dying from something else and living with an extended lifespan). The safest and more sterile environments will not keep you from getting it. Repeated irritation or injury can also cause cancer, by the time the average human hits 60ish you should have developed a few tumors that your t-cells may have dealt with or the tumors may have undergone apoptosis (the cell receives a signal to commit die, only phrased it like this for the meme). Also it is fairly normal by this age to have had some minor heart attacks as well. The human body is a fascinating conglomeration of cells all working together for the whole.
