Just saw a short RU-vid video this morning featuring a RN (…maybe…she was wearing scrubs) on same subject. She demonstrated using a cotton ball soaked in hydrogen peroxide. Just squeeze the cotton ball & lie still for 5 minutes. Repeat on other ear. Thanks for the 3% strength tip. I have that, will try it tonight
What about using alcohol? I was advised by a physician (years ago) to use alcohol due to having swimmer's ear and a history of lots of ear infections. So anytime I swim, wash my hair, shower, etc, I was advised to use alcohol to help the water to evaporate prior to getting "trapped" and causing an infection.

I found this rectifued itself once dring in sun, alternate gead position,ysings soft tissue then twisted tightly,n when in ear gentky twust other way. Sqyeaky ckean! Some wasx prevents s.ear. ,water in. Serves a purpose in moderation,as do tiny hairs etc. Though infection IS different story n yes,needs medical.
1200% effective highly reccomend just let it sit for a good amount of time and it literally just starts falling out like water then hit it with some q tips and holy hell I just went through like 13 of em getting what was left after I just dumped my ear out and now I can hear EVERYTHING
Just bought an earwax removal kit with camera. Link it to your smart phone and use that never stick qtip in your ear but with the earwax removal with a camera, you can see the wax you can lay down in bed with a paper towel to clean off the wax from the tool, and it’s really easy to use once you lay down, and be very careful your ears are sensitive. Don’t use Q-tip.
I’ve used HP since I was a wee little kid when my mom used it. Best cleaner ever. Bubbles up. I just use half a cap full of the lid and it’s the best clean I’ve ever had! Feels really great too!
I would imagine using during ear infection would actually inhance the environment of the ear. He must be referring to the amount of pain you would experience.
There is no one perfect method. We have tried them all in the ER and Urgent care. Depends on too many factors. The best mixture is peroxide and a tiny amount of alcohol
I’ve used cotton swabs after a bath/shower my whole life (26yrs) and not only never had any problems, my doctor actually told me not to clean my ears so often because I could remove too much wax. Never just stick a cotton swab in your ear. Clean your ears with soap and warm water then fluff the cotton tip so you don’t stick a blunt object in your ear, use a twisting/swirling motion and don’t go too deep because you will hit the eardrum and that’s uncomfortable. No I’ve never damaged my eardrum this way. Or caused any blockage. I actually had more problems when I would forget to clean my ears with a swab.
A Dr told me once not to use hydrogen peroxide to clean ears ... he said that hydrogen peroxide is "H2 O2" and the bubbling you see is the extra Oxygen molecules bubbling off... then you're left with "H2 O" or just water in your ears and that can lead to all kind of problems.
Be careful bc I was told to use hydrogen peroxide to clean my ears, and I dipped a q-tip in peroxide and cleaned them that way more than once and now I’ve been dealing with itchy ears for 20 years bc of it. I wish I had seen a video like this back then.
Hey bro! When I cleaned my ear like this (I'm a kid and yes my mom did it for me) my eye stinged when she poured it in, also thanks for the tip! But do you possibly know why? I had a huge ball of wax in my ear it was covering half of my ear drum so she did this and it didn't stinge till the 6th drop and it stinged in my eye I cried do you know why?
I highly recommend a little 1cc oral syringe, squirt a little 3% H2O2 right where you need it. Gives you great control over how much you're using and where it's going.
I do it in the shower. Mix HP with water in a small plastic container, use a baby nasal aspirator (bulb syringe) to squirt into your ear. If you've ever had your ears cleaned by ou Dr. you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
I used 6% solution for 2 days and it worked really well. I didn’t have a syringe so I used a straw. Put the straw in the bottle and then put your finger on the top of the straw to draw up a small amount. It’s easy to aim the straw in the right place and makes sure you don’t overdo it.
I wish you were there when I had an ear infection for a whole week and after a heating pad slightly opened it up (it was swollen shut for a few days) she held me down and poured peroxide into it thinking it would help...I was crying so hard she gave me one of her cbd edibles bc she felt horrible, she really thought the peroxide would help
There seems to be some reddish inflammation on your cheeks beside your nose on both sides. Maybe you can do a video on how to cure it with before and after pictures 😂
Okay I been having severe itching and burning in my ears. I do have eczema but never in my ears. Should I use peroxide? I have 3% concentrate. Will it help relieve the buildup? Or make it worse?
NO!!! go to a doctor and have them check it out. sure, an eczema flare-up is never fun. but they can help way more. hydrogen peroxide (even at 3%) could burn your ears and cause hearing problems
Ive just got an ear injury from doing this, i have an ear infection and it literally felt like my ears were being stabbed. Im not kidding or over exaggerating

Bro I been using hydrogen peroxide, ive tried debrox none of it works only peroxide momentarily clears it but still closes after a little bit its frustrating. So now I bought w60 ear cleaning machine.

Guys trust me and do this First get some essential on whatever oil I have And then ask someone to put two drops of that oli in your ear ( each ear ) and when it’s on your ear wait you 3 second and flip your head back up and all the water will drain our trust me . BUT - do not attempt when u have infection or ear ache only when there is water like maybe after swimming or something !!!!!!!! 💗👍🏻
No no essential only as in ear essential oil they are different . Ear essential oils are usually suggested by ear doctors 🥼 they are different types of oil .
it can't just be essential oil alone. it is imperative that it is diluted with a carrier oil such as jojoba, coconut, or olive oil before applying to any skin. doing so will prevent the pure essential oil from irritating or even burning the skin. just be sure to take caution when using concentrated essential oils on the skin! ☺️

I used Isopropyl alcohol and it burns and internet says to keep it in for 5mins so now Im standing here head tilted grinding my teeth cause of the burning
Where tf do you even find HP over 3%? Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, dollar stores, all they stock is 3% HP. I’ve never used it in my ears, that sounds egregious to me.
